My educated guess is that ur laptop CPU is hitting 100C which automatically throws a BSOD since this is the set temp limit or some other hardware is failing. This is hard to diagnose without troubleshooting which would include;

Running a Prime95 test to see if it gives a BSOD. (Prime95 is a free stress test that won’t damage your laptop)

Swapping out ram sticks (if it’s 2 x 4gb then you would remove one and use it and see if it gives you a BSOD)

Ensuring that you have all the latest drivers which I linked earlier.

Unfortunately Acer only has a 1 year warranty

 

First thing to do is go here;

Install the latest bios and chipset drivers to see if it remedies the issue

Some people run Prime95 for upto 24 hours , usually 30 minutes to an hour is enough. Small ffts then large ffts

 

Buy a tower and build your own will always be est ans cheapest option

 

Bought a brand new Alienware 17 and had nothing but problems with it.
Also had a HP gaming laptop which was like 1k, it was decent but the casing they put them laptops in is an absolute joke, falls to bits with ease

 

Ran all the tests I could says nothing is wrong with my laptop lol , after doing full restores and everything back to scratch my laptop is laggy , plays 1 rs absolutely fine , but once I open a second one it looks like I’m playing in slo mo , decided to just buy a gaming desktop probably next week . Decided to up my budget a bit and found a acer predator with a 1080 and a i7 in it for 2300$

 

Post the full specs? Sounds like it could be a ripoff.

Lmao did you even read the thread OP? Try gaming on a Mac before you give advise like this.

 

Have you pulled the laptop apart for any obvious damage or cables/components slightly out of socket? I had major issues years ago that was down to a simple ribbon cable half out of the socket, including a carpet of dust. Blew all the air out it was as good as new. Your cpu could be cooking?

 

Forgot to update this , once I took gpu mode off of runelite I’ve never had a blue screen of death again
