    Abortion?

    I agree with abortion.

If a women is raped, I doubt she would want to keep the baby, The same with a pregnant teen. A friend of mine recently had a baby and she's only 15.

Maybe something will be wrong with the baby when it's born, Extra limbs or something of that nature... Maybe it would be better off dead.

Well there's both parts I agree with, and there's part I dissagree with.

If you wait like 2 almost 3 months before doing abortion, it's like killing the baby, and if you don't want the baby, you could always use "adoption" as an alternative.

    Never said that did I?
I said I agree and dissagree with it.

But sure, let's all kill babies!
(Don't call it a fetus, because it will have a heartbeat!)

But I really do think it's up to the individual themselves, as long as who ever might be the "father" gets informed.

I believe abortion is fine, as long as the contributors know what they are losing. I mean, that baby of yours could have grown up to be the president! But, instead, you chose to have it broken into bits and pieces inside your cervix and sucked through a half-inch-in-diameter plastic tube.....

    Meh, women.

I'm not pro-abortion. But I'm pro-choice. Often, even though you are preventing life, you are making dozens of lives better and safer.

The baby could also grow up to be the next Joseph Stalin. Oh, wait: Future possibilities are irrelevant.

It is 'legal murder' of a child, technically.

But the day after pill isn't.

I don't approve of nay way of disposing a human, but that's my religion getting in the way.

Without religion, abortion should be legal up until the baby is considered 'living', with the division of church and state.

Why do you have that religion if it gets in the way of what you really believe?

    Abortion?

I absolutely DO NOT AGREE with Abortion what-so-ever.

My mom has had 7 children, or has she? No.. she's only had 5.

    SHE'S HAD 2, COUNT IT, 2 ABORTIONS!

I hate her so much for this, because she's taken away the lives of two of my siblings.

I wish she had a legitimate reason to back up her reasoning, besides the fact that she "did it" with Ron Jeremy when she was 16 or 17.

Yes, she did do it with Ron Jeremy.. she should've starred in the Porn Film.. I'd be rich instead of poor.

    Damn Mother..

I don't believe that abortion is right. But, I live in America, and since we're talking about murder, or per say, laws.
Then the constitution comes into effect. And there is a division between state, and church.

    Abortion?

Why do you choose the point where the baby is considered "living" as where abortion should be legal? Why not up until when the baby is considered a "person"?

Because killing a living human is murder.

    Killing a human that's not living isn't.

    Therefor it's not 'illegal'.

Then why should the law draw the line at where the baby is considered living, rather than when the baby is considered a person?

Well the issue at hand, to build on what The Fat Controller said, is that living tissue is not inherently deserving of rights. Imagine a chunk of human intestine grown in a Petri dish - would that deserve rights?

To be fair, Shredderbeam, this intestine will never have a chance to be a living human, whereas an embrio will.

But that chunk of intenstine has roughly the same amount of humanity as a fetus, up to a certain stage of that fetus's development.

Why attach any significance to potential? There's always the potential for a baby, even if the women hasn't got pregnant yet.
