Interesting. I just submitted as well. I noticed it said the first round of payouts won't be until at least Jan. 2020, but hey - free money is free money.

I did some research on this. AOC out there spreading propaganda per usual! Take a gander at the article. Only a small portion of the settlement is allotted for cash payments. The total payout per person is dependent on how many file for cash.. estimated somewhere between like $1-$20. I think taking the free 10 year credit monitoring might have been the better option. Good either way.

Did you read the article you linked? AOC corrected her tweet and told people to take the 10 year offer, says so on the article lol.

Anyway, I have free credit monitoring already. Gimme the $!!!

She went out and posted a tweet saying everyone was going to receive $125+ (propaganda). You are correct in saying she posted an update later on. Doesn't seem cobfusing to me. The propaganda comment was more of a joke than anything.
