Removal of Donations and Miniranks.

Your post is referring to Time trying to appeal, skimming past it it's all based on that and the fact people ban evade > donate > get banned again > vade again > donate again in a cycle, is there any specific key parts you would like to explain?

 

why not have it be said that if you are banned for scamming or for malicious intent to scam or deceive someone out of money or goods that you lose your donor status and any attached miniranks upon being pardoned.

Exactly that's what I am referring to, if you are removing it completely then you owe those who are legit their stuff back.

There is however, currently auctions that offer the mini ranks from scammers to try provide some scam victims the chance to get their money back, the same with those who donate back to scammers like I did with a scam victim from someone @Jason dealt with.

When it comes to generally asking to have it all revoked as a whole, you cant expect people to agree to it and be like YEAH GUYS FUCK IT LETS VOTE YES DESPITE US LOSING MONEY! That makes no common logic.

I dislike scammers more than anyone thinks, i'm that guy who abuses scammers profiles despite warranting a ban for it when it comes to @itzfrosty and such because his a fairy.

 

Then why did you ask who was going to refund you your rank? If you're requesting a pardon your owning up to what you've done and want a 'clean slate' hence my suggestion. In addition to miniranks being revoked so should your donor status.

You have suggested to have removal of all ranks/mini ranks to what we can tell, which is why I have mentioned refunding our ranks.

The donor status is what goes to the website, which is giving them money in return for you using it. You go out for food, you have the option to "tip" the waiters but you're not warranted to, but you can at your own desire and with the amount included this is the same.

That tip goes right to the waiter who served you, so essentially the $50 you donated will go straight to Sythes forum unless you did it via a bondholder which obviously they also take a cut.

At the moment it's more just the mini ranks get stripped if there are any, I understand it doesn't replace ALL scam victims and problems, but it does however regain some for them.

 

It's an additional punishment. A 'bounty' - the user could donate again to @Sythe if they chose to as per their fresh start. But any perks that previously existed before you decided to steal are gone.

 

Of course they can, that's not really a doubt of what happens either so it's irrelevant.

Who is to say you're not a ban evader yourself? We don't know, only the staff would know upon reporting you and being looked into, does that mean your donation should be added to the funds list? of course not..

You mentioned ZERO reasons why we shouldn't strip scammers of their enhanced statuses. How about contributing something actually useful to this suggestion instead of bickering with the TS LOL. As said, I saw it as "all users should have it removed" I don't care too much for scammers, yes they have things set up but why should Sythe really lose their donation money because of a scammer needing to refund? that's stupid.

Being someone who has contributed to the website, if it was struck as ALL users have their stuff removed, I would expect a refund, if it's stated to scammers only (Which to be fair I cant say I noticed so) then there are already things put in place for that.

By removing all 'enhanced' statuses off scammers, you're providing a deterrence to would-be scammers and arseholes thinking of scam-quitting-pardoning multiple times. Now, your turn.

Generally speaking - If it was to go in the way of removing all ranks and mini ranks from ALL USERS not just SCAMMERS (helped you there with the caps lock as it seems you struggle) then there should be refunds met on those who are not "scammers"

Now, if there was to be things for SCAMMERS, yes SCAMMERS there are already things in play such as auctions of mini ranks etc.

 

When runescape ban you do they refund your money from membership?
When powerbot ban you do you get your status back?

It dissapears and contributes to the running of Sythe. If you want it back, buy it again.

That's the point. If you're banned, you lose all your perks. Why should you be able to scam then return to your $300 donor status? Shouldn't happen.

 

So you've agreed with me that no refunds for their bonds should be given upon being banned, yet when a scammer does an 'illegal' thing on sythe and gets banned, somehow having a no-refund, removal policy on his donation rank is a no-go?
