Removal of Donations and Miniranks.

However, This will indeed de-incentivize pardoning which would lower the likelihood of victims being paid back.

Question for the mods/admins, why don’t we auction off the miniranks of scammers similar to what @video did when Mimi scammed?

 

they already do this, its just sparingly because they dont want to flood miniranks into the site, but they should do one soon since its been awhile since the last one.

We have decided to hold a quarterly auction for these so the market doesn't get flooded all at once, and this also ensures the prices remain good when we do hold them. Speaking of, it will be time for one soon since we last had one in the spring

Bad idea coming from good intentions. The TWC and DNT system is there to handle OP's concerns. Whether it's being used correctly I don't know, but this needlessly complicates the system.

 

I dont think so their donator status shoud be reset after all they donated to site.

But i belive their vouch thread shoud be deleted after they pardon. Because just because they went trough pardon and got accepted i dont think so that their vouches still count because going trough pardon just means you are no longer danger to the site but doesnt mean you shoud get all reputation which you had instantly back (Vouches).

 

I've already suggested this before but was denied. As pointed out by @Pendulum, the pardon is a clean slate(*rolls eyes*) so the stance of Sythe currently is to encourage scammers as much as possible, to pardon.

And ofc, many pardoned members wouldnt wanna see this happen seeing as they benefitted from this unfair, skewed system lol. Its such a easy loophole but i guess its one that Sythe wont be addressing anytime soon

 

Support, scammers can just "refund" and because they keep their donation status / vouches people will still trust them. Most of the times they will scam again but than for a bigger amount. #FuckTheScammers

Read the post. The removal is only for those who have scammed and request a pardon. Upon being pardonned they are stripped of their donation status.

If you are suggesting to "remove all mini ranks and donations" without a specific behind it in your reply, then simply don't expect people not to respond.

If you are suggesting EVERYONE including yourselves get their shit removed, I hope you have deep pockets if not, get off the site.
