my school is a little smarter i guess . any site that is blocked is also blocked from googling so u cant look up youtube on google, u just get an error

To add to my earlier post, I tried it out. But you can't access more then the first cached page, atleast It wouldn't work for me .

 

you cant access more than the first. its not for forums. just things like images and video sites.

 

Or ping the server and use the IP.

Cached = IP

 

yup. that always works too. yet somehow, the people posting on here say that their schools block EVERYTHING. they really crack down...

Short and concise - but kinda useless at the same time. If your school district does not block cached pages, it most likely does not have a great firewall that automatically detects attempts to bypass it, therefore you'd be better off using proxies and actually being able to watch flash videos and most other things. This only allows you to *browse* but not actually do anything extremely useful other than view images. Still, 8/10 since you mention this in your guide, and it's short and concise.

 

providing that they dont block the cached pages then you're fine. if they do, then this guide doesnt help you, stop whining.
