    Should Teachers/Professors be armed?

    You implied it.

Who fucking cares if Obama was a christian/muslim/juijimonsterian? All of the religions out there have no empirical evidence to back them up.

Well, you do cling too much, guns? Ever heard of non-violence or Mahatma Gandhi?

Religion has no place in politics.

I don't need to know you personally so I can tell if you are a slave or not, if you follow ANY religion not back by any empirical evidence and tells you the 'truth' even though it has been proven wrong etc, you are a slave.

The best kind of slave is one which doesn't know he's a slave.

Hopefully you'll come to a realization soon. Being a Christian is slavery, but you're too dumb to see that, or define it to yourself in another manner/way.

Oh and, you do not know anything about politics or how the system works, McCain and what's her face are puppets of the elites and McCain is a copy of Bush.

PS: 9/11 was an inside job.

I see what you did thar (Ignoring everything of relevance to the thread, why don't you answer my whole post?)

Lol, good save. You edited your original answer.

What the hell?! So they can go round threatening us behind closed doors. In my school they already cut the line of the law, so adding weapons and armaments of any sort would just be @#$%!

I havn't taken the time to read through more than the first page. So I don't know if this has already been said.

    But,
Teachers and professors are regular humans. Sure, they might be more educated then others (mostly professors) but that doesn't make them any different.
They still feel pain, anger, despair, etc. Who is to say they should be trusted in being allowed to KEEP a firearm at school.

They also mostly likely have no firearm training. A gun is a little more work than just point and shoot. If someone doesn't know what they are doing with a gun, it can easily get snatched by another person in a brawl... And then some crazy bastard who broke into the school unarmed now has a gun.

There are different and MUCH safer alternatives to keeping schools safe.
On 850 KOA Denver (radio station around here) they were talking about how CU Denver installed some kind of no-key security lock system on every classroom. Now that sounds like a real good idea. They shelled out a nice penny for it, but they're alot safer.

All and all it's just a bad idea with alot of alternatives... I could go on and on.. heh.

    Should Teachers/Professors be armed?

Yes, I have heard of Mahatma Gandhi.
He only got what he wanted because of so much support. Without that support, violence overwhelms the weak.

I do what I want, I think what I want. How am I a slave? I am not a sheep.

9/11 was an inside job? LOL!

You see what I did? You asked NO questions. Therefor I replied to what I wanted. Ask a question and I will reply.

Why do you think he got soo much support?

Watch Zeitgeist (http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/), and go to the 9/11 thread. There is enough proof.

Well, in my first reply, I wrote why your opinion on this matter is stupid and ignorant and not well thought of, you not refusing or contradicting anything that I say and moving into another matter automatically means that you lost the debate or agree with what I say.

Lol nice sig 'I hate homosexuals'. You are soo goddamn ignorant, you don't deserve to post in here.

It could provoke more gang violance in kids, if they see a teacher, their roll model holding a weapon. They will think themselves to get one, try to get it, or kill him for it o_O

    Should Teachers/Professors be armed?

Yea. I'd much rather be killed by a crazy-ass kid, than a teacher who gets pissed at me cuz I flicked them off.

    About rubber bullets:
WTF is that going to do to a kid who has a real gun. Fail.

Lmao... what would this world be coming to if someone of higher authority, and a lot older... would need to protect themselves from children?

    Should Teachers/Professors be armed?

    No.

Students can become nervous knowing that there is a Gun in the classroom, but not knowing where it is. This could possibly cause a significant drop in the average grade, resulting in more students being held back.

Incapacitate them long enough to take their weapon away.

The bullet only move slightly slower than a lead bullet. Look for a riot video with rubber bullets. They do their job pretty well.

    It's enough though.
Columbine is maybe a 30 minutes drive away from where I live and they take school shootings very seriously here. I made a little flash animation for school before, it had a cannon blow up a stick figure. Right away when they saw it they went OMG PSYCHO PATH GUNNER! Had to deal with the school shrink.. ugh.

I don't think so, as the children will know that they have the guns, and would probably target teachers and students then.

It's just a bad idea. Why not put more secruity/policemen at the school, rather than arming a bunch of stressed out teachers. It's really unnecessary, not to mention the way it may effect the children. It's just not a good idea, teachers are called teachers for a reason, not gun toting vigilantes.

    Should Teachers/Professors be armed?

Lol, this is one of the most stupid things i have seen lol!

Few points why they should not be armed:
    - All the students and staff are supposed to feel safe (Obviously a gun wont do the trick)
    - Having such a weapon in front of kids, i hint alot of accidents are going to happen.
    - Just shooting kids is wrong, i mean teachers aint even allowed to assault us o_O
    - School would obviously shut down if such a procedure was commenced, i mean the parents also have the right to know that their kid is at a safe environment, having the parents find this shit out, i'd get them outta there.
    - *There is so many more problems that could be pointed out here*

Though there is only a few good effects of teachers being armed:
    - More control of students...
    - Will obviously prevent massacre, or in some cases might cause another >_<
    - Teachers feel safe from kids, lmfao!
    - *I have no idea what else to place here*

So yeah, obviously, the world would just have to end, if such a thing was to happen...

ok... but think of this.. the teacher snaps.. kills a student.. or if a student snaps.. and knows the teacher has a gun.. hes gonna kill the teacher first.. then instead of one gun he has two.. i believe that they should have metal detectors on the doors... thats the answer right there

It doesn't matter who posted the proof, it's still evidence.

Still ignoring my other claims I see.

As I said, you know NOTHING about politics you sheep.

It's hilarious that after someone beats you in a debate or an argument be it in this thread or Do You Believe In God thread, you just leave and ignore the claims.

    Ignorant fool.
