Should there be a way to recover a stolen password faster?

i thnk it's bullcrap how even tho i own the account and someone(deadd) scammed me for it, i gotta wait 1 whole hour to see if i provided enough info to recover it..... then you gotta write down that long ass code....

its only 1 hour but the code shit is annoying. just wait it out and go for a bike ride or somethin =P

 

I agree, the most annoying part is the code. 1 Hour wait is really not that long.

 

na if it gets scamed and u gota wait 1 hour. the guy could easy take all your money off ur account..

It's only an hour, and I really doubt Jagex is going to change this because you post someone posts on Sythe.

 

if know u you're info theres no big deal, jagex is trying to protect you from getting ur account broken into easier.

I think If you have the information, it should automatically let you change the password. Correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't you recover a stolen password instantly with just the recovery questions?

 

Yeah, youre ok if you have all the info...
But i mean, how are you supposed to remeber the month that you made that acc.. it could be your main which could have been made 2 years ago etc
