What sort of drunk are you?

Pretty self explanatory question. As I've matured, (I'm 26) I've noticed that my perception has slightly shifted while I'm drunk.

When I was younger 18-21, I never suffered from hangovers and was generally a happy-bouncy drunk.

Nowadays, when I drink too much, I start to feel paranoid, similar to the paranoia you'd feel as a symptom of a fat joint. I also get really bad hangovers, even if it's just two beers! So because of this ^ I've limited my alcohol intake to once a month.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

 

I don't drink nearly as much as I used to. Definitely was a courageous and brave kind of drunk. It was always either Tanqueray or Hennest. Now, I only drink a beer every blue moon. I drink wine more than beer, only because it's usually what females I hang out with drink. Definitely more of a mellow kind of drinker now.

 

Social drunk sort of a chain smoker when I get really drunk

 

It’s quite normal for your hangovers to worsen as you age/mature.
I never get drunk nowdays, because I don’t really enjoy it anymore. I’ll have 4 beers or so. I rarely if ever experience hangovers tho, lucky me. I kinda feel like I’ve done it all, and I don’t need to repeat the incident(s) of me puking in the backyard or WC on some club.

 

When I am drunk I believe I am the most funny person which often create awkward situations

Weirdly enough, I'm the opposite. I'm 30 and I don't really get hangovers anymore, no matter how much I drink. I do get a tremendous amount of physical anxiety/panic attacks to make up for it though lol.

 

I am energetic. Drink water?

I'm 27, pushing 28, and I can definitely say that I feel the hangovers much harder now. In college I could drink 5 days a week and be (some-what ) okay. Nowadays, we'll drink on a Saturday and I swear it takes me 3 days to recover lol. Nonetheless, I'm generally the happy-go-lucky, make friends with everyone, "Good Time Charlie" type of guy.

 

I am 24. I can generally out-drink all my friends but I'm a happy drunk. I will be anyone's friend.

 

The type which loves everyone, a little too much.

I also talk a lot of shit, the other day after a pretty heavy one my friend *kindly* reminded me that I was telling a girl that I am a brain surgeon.

 

Alcohol is harmful to the body. I do not drink hard drinks at all. Sometimes I can drink a glass of champagne or red wine. But this is rare. I run in the morning. After alcohol, it is very difficult to restore the body. There are many other great drinks without alcohol.

 

Were those wheatbeers? People with gluten intolerance might get easy headaches with those.

I myself prefer good dark beers
Because they are tasty, have more fiber and iron content.
Wine is better but the good stuff can get expensive. Hangovers are common if you dont drink enough water which in turn leaves you with a hangover - pretty simple to avoid one. Drinking the cheap and bad stuff will also get you messed up so try to avoid that.

To answer your question about what mood it leaves me with then it depends on how i feel before drinking since alcohol just amplifies your current state of mind. If i would be a little angry then it would leave me with a more cold feel. But usually im quite chill so it makes me even chiller.

Too much of anything is harmful to the body to be honest.

I get sometimes emo drunk? Is that even a thing? Hahah

 

I'm almost 29 and the hangovers are the worst part now. I'm (usually) not excessively loud and obnoxious. I'm not mean, I just have a good time. Some water before passing out does help!
