Canada, I live there. I've been around the world, and to all of the countries on your list. I can tell you know, that the U.S shouldn't even be on that list. It is one of the most disgusting countries I have ever been too. The difference between rich and poor compared to canada, is mind blowing. England Is a very nice country but the weather is disgusting it's always raining and it's ranked 2nd for most surveillance. After North Korea, makes you wonder. :/

Ah I'd have to say Australia. I'ts so isolated and far away from many of the worlds problems. Although we are not the richest or largest country we are pretty well off compared to the rest of the world.

I think I'll go ahead and say my second preference to Japan, which is either Sweden or Finland.

Both part of the EU (correct me of I'm wrong), meaning I can travel to and from countries like the UK, France and so on. The climate in both countries really suits me, and overall I think the landscapes are just beautiful.

What would be the best country to live in?

    China, Austrailia, or the UK.

    CHINA

    Pros: Manufacturing jobs, Growing economy

Cons: You have to learn Chinese

    UK

Pros: The Pound has the highest value of any currency (I think), easy to go on international vacations.

    Cons: Rather depressing weather

    AUSTRAILIA

Pros: Lots of sun, not involved in many (if any) wars

Cons: You won't be aloud to immigrate unless you have some type of skill that would benefit their economy. Kind of like a college.

China is communist, I think what you're talking about is Hong Kong. The rest of China is mostly closed to the public. They only really opened up for the Olympic games. Hong Kong on the other hand, is a trade capital.

What would be the best country to live in?

Canada. Better health care, our politicians are far more competent than Bush or McCain (though Obama is comparable), better education, and though the US economy is likely going to effect ours, Canada will not be as bad off as the US.

I really want to travel around the world to find this out for myself. As of now, I live in the US(Colorado), its alright here.

I voted Canada, because I've been to BC, and its fucking beautiful. Plus you can smoke weed there....legally.

    I live in Northern Ireland.

I have been abroad to Spain, Turkey, USA, Japan, China a few times... If I had to pick any of those places, I would still pick Northern Ireland.

I sort of like the weather too... It's not to hot, But not to cold either :)
