To ANYONE that has been scammed by Trent Thomas

Anyone who has been scammed by a person named "Trent Thomas", commonly referred to as Josiah is requested to please provide their information. There is a police report currently going against him, and anyone who has lost money to him (real $, not GP) should get in touch with me. I have the phone # of a police sergeant in charge of the situation. Proof of payment is required, so if you sent $ via Western Union / Money Order / Cheque / Anything that is a recorded transaction.

Furthermore, do NOT TRADE WITH TRENT THOMAS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. He will tell you exactly what you want to hear, because he is a con artist. His language will make him seem legit, but rest assured, HE WILL SCAM YOU. He has been doing this for over 2 years now (probably a lot more), and you are playing the game under his terms.

Lately he is posing as a girl, and using a girl friend of his to make phone calls, etc. He lives in Michigan from what I know, but it is possible he has moved. If you are approached by a girl selling an account, who talks via phone, etc. you could very well be dealing with Trent Thomas.

he uses his friend "its a girl" to say its her account and she wont let him on.
they met at the libary he says....

How is he spamming? It really is good that we are taking action on potential scammers and this will make some scammers think twice. Sure, the post may not claim to say he's scammed, but the original posts only ask that information to be private messaged to him. Quit breaking the rules and back seat mod.

 

How much has he scammed?

 

He has scammed on a ton of websites; craigslist, Sythe, accountmarket, etc. It's likely that Trent has stolen over $5,000 through Runescape related forums.

This situation is much different. Trent has an ongoing police report, and there is an officer directly in charge of dealing with him. Everything is in place, all we need are your transaction details and you can get your money back.

We know he's been around, we know he's been on many different Sythe accounts. All we're looking for are people he has scammed directly, who have recorded transactions. He did a lot of scams via Western Union particularily.

Oh yeah he also left multiple threatening voicemails on my cell phone saying i was a fag and he was gonna kill me if i turned him in or somthing.
