    Payments for my alching service

This is not an advertisement. I'm simply wondering what methods of payment are best to keep available with such a service. I can then change prices and my signature accordingly.

I looked up Western Union online and have used their money orders before but I'm curious as to how it actually works as far as their service is concerned.

Paypal seems to be easiest but proves to be unreliable and ridiculously not practical for intangible items.

I'm just looking to offer services for low prices and be able to easily receive money as well as making it easier on the client.

All help is much appreciated. Please detail if possible, especially past experiences as well as how to go about using the particular payment method(s).

    Thanks,
    Ethan

Yeah. I've used that before. It's just that supposedly after a certain amount of cash or something, paypal gets you into trouble.

Western Union requires you own a Credit/Debit card to register, which is out of question for most of the 14 - 17 aged people on this site.

Used E-Gold a few times and hated the way they did things, can't give opinion on them.

Paypal is probably your best option, has its widely accepted form of payment but requires a bank account(Checking or Savings) to send funds. Most kids these days can get a savings account.

Moneybookers, not widely used and probably not going to be any time soon. Most people never heard of them, and I've never used them personally.

Mail order, is good I guess but highly inconvenient and takes awhile to be sent depending on how far away they live.

Yes, but most of your costumers probably won't have on which means Western Union is usually out of question for them.

e-gold/Librerty reserve -> Payments are unrefundable , once paid , there's no way of getting back . Plus lots of exchange sites will send you cash / cheque / bank deposit

For small amounts of money, there's absolutely no point in using Western Union.

Personally, I do all amounts over $75 with WU and anything under in PayPal, simply because of the convenience.

WU is the best if you dont want to get scammed, but your getting soo little that it would be best to use pay pal.

What genius put this into rs general?

It has nothing to do with rs.

    Alright, sounds good.

Thanks a lot guys. More personal opinions will be appreciated though as well as experiences.
