Thanks! Yeah, I was mostly focusing on letting the starfield shine through, it was my first time creating a more advanced and custom starfield rather than just using the noise filter and adding a couple lens flairs, so I wanted the big bright dense stars in the center to shine through. I probably should have make another moon or something in the bottom left corner, but oh well.

Doesn't look to good no blending just some random colors and no actual shading just some downloaded brushes as space clouds I guess.

I've seen (and made, but don't ask me to find them.. I lose all my work) way better space-scapes, but it isn't awful

Very sexy, the title lured me in. I was expecting some kind of like explosion thing, but this is tight. How exactly did you make it?

 

It's fairly nice; nice colours and such.
But the lighting is messed up as fuck.
The brightest part of the piece doesn't even seem to have an effect on the planet, which is pitch black at the part where it should be reflecting/showing some of the light from the center.

Look. I used noise to make the initial starfield. Created a new screen layer on top of that and used noise again. Played around with the levels and the B and C to get it looking alright. Expanded the top layer so they are brighter. Used the eraser and clone tool to get it looking right. USED A PRESET BRUSH (notice... preset) with some scatter, opacity jitter, and a texture to paint on some gases in the background. Also used a couple lens flairs and some gausian blur (however you spell that) to simulate a glow effect. No downloaded brushes involved.

@the thread maker; I think the lighting is a bit off and the planets don't look too realistic.
