Spamming Infractions - Are they enough?

After browsing through the User Education Guides, I was immediately frustrated with the amount of "hay i alrudy new this but thx" posts. They're everywhere.



What I'm suggesting is strict spamming rules. You spam, you get, say... One more infraction point per report? It's really annoying to see all of the pointless posts in threads.

 

Agree 100%, noobs spamming for post count really piss me off. Are you suggesting this for all sections or just ue?

 

All of them. I just had my example based on UE.

No point ive had a thread on this and it has been denied its best just to report it and it will be considered as spam.

the problem is people not reporting spammers, if everyone actually took the time to report spam, it wouldn't be a problem

 

The UE should just be removed.

You just read this thread, and you're agreeing to what he says, but being a hypocrit as well. Your post is completely spam right there, for to concur you must also be elaborate as to why you have agreed.

This would pretty much solve the problem in the UE sections.
