    Anyone watching?

McCain saying "I have taken on the special interests" and "Senator Obama and his Liberal cronies" is quite tiring. I'd like to hear some actual plans on how he's going to fix the country instead of "I saved money voting on whatever, while Senator Obama spent $3 million on a planetarium."

You can probably see who I'm leaning towards.

    What do you guys think?

That my bore you, but, what does Obama mean by change? He never defines it! Never!

    Here's just a quick pic I found :)

And I would vote for McCain.

    He just seems more American.

And, I don't care to lose any of my constitutional rights, thanks.

    Lmao, he has defined it.

    He means change in;
    - how we run the government
    - the economy
    - the average American's taxes
    - a change in relations with other countries.

He has said that numerous times, I'm surprised people don't take that from his speeches.

It's weird how people think, I mean for one; The only reason people are thinking of Barack Obama is because he is black (well the X generation anyways).

Then people will feel sorry for him and let him get into office, there is a bit of the "discrimination" remembrance that will give him the lead against any other white person.

I'm not a racist but I see it everywhere, children are abused because they look different, whether its having glasses or being fat, or example on Australian Idol a fat person won over a thin person, though the thin person was the better singer, but then the fat person won, because there was a feeling that she had been through a hard life because she is fat. (A bit off-topic but just using it as an example)

I believe OBama will win, regardless of his policies... specially since its more the X generation, are the majority voters.

The Y generation (with you all over you) can see the truth and who they should pick, just on the facts that are presented to them, where as the X generation (your parents and etc) will vote based on who they believe has had the hardest experiences.

Err, I think Obama will win because his policies are popular after several years of disillusionment with the Bush Administration. People are looking for change, and Obama has that buzzword written all over him. I don't think skin colour is so important in this election.

The word "change" is defined reasonably well if you look at the "blueprint for change" document on his campaign website.

US elections are completely contemptuous towards democracy though. People are given two choices, and every word that comes out of a candidate's mouth has been checked beforehand to make sure it won't alienate any potential voters.

    Mostly agreed.
Besides the fact that I look at experience, legibility, their position, thoughts, past thoughts, etc.

Did you mean, representative democracy, or republic, or are you really that stupid?

You only resort to the middle school excuse of possible assassination simply because you are either :

    1. A Racist.
    2. You don't know what you're talking about.

I could say I don't like McCain because he'll die in office, but I won't. Because I actually have reasons behind why I support Obama.

Even though I'm Australian I would like to point out your missing the point of Vice Presidents or whatever there called.
I have seen McCain's and Obama's choice as there running mate.
McCain evened it out a little bit because as some of you might know Obama does not have McCain's experience but from what i have seen, heard and researched McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin is a complete no nothing when it comes to politics.
I have no idea whether im correct but i think i might be, its hard for us Australians witch is why after this post i'll stay out of the topic.

Err yes, I was referring to representative democracy, you venomous pedant.

US democracy is severely limited in that it's a two-party system, but the killer is that the focus of the election is about the image of the candidates, not policy and issues that people actually need to be concerned about.

Why? Because the media controls the election.

Fuck the media, and you have a clean election. No biased polls, no biased anything for that matter.

And then most of the stuff put out, will be policy, issues, background, etc.

    Thanks, I know I'm a venomous pedant. :)

Being a Governor, is harder than being a vice president, or a president even at that.

She is running for VICE-president, not president. She's completely qualified for the position.

McCain isn't too bad, but I'm afraid of Sarah Palin succeeding him by some means. Our country would be fucked then. Obama and Biden however, I believe, are both solid enough to run the country.

The elections are looking into the future, all Biden does is look to the past.

Legit, your sig really pisses me off. Why would you just blatantly say, "I hate homosexuals"? Such a fucking prick. Do you really have to announce that? I also hate the the McCain/Palin for obvious reasons, and you're quote, "God does not believe in Atheist, therefore Atheists do not exist." is fucking retarted. That's like saying ghosts don't believe in people, therefore people don't exist. Even if there is no hell, you're going to it if it exists. I'm straight, but I really think that "i hate homosexuals" thing in your sig is ban material.

It's my opinion, get the fuck over it.

It is not bannable material, or I would be banned. I'm sure Sythe himself has read my sig plenty of times.

    And hey, it's a quote. =|

It's taking on the logic of an Atheist IE, 'I don't believe in God there he doesn't exist.'

So what if it's you're opinion? Why state it? Who really wants to read that? it like degrades everyone's respect for you. So what if it's a quote? It's an idiotic quote with really fallacious reasoning, and obviously only a small-minded person would put it in their sig, so i don't mind that. I like it because it lets me know I'm intellectually superior to you. 8)

    You're intellectually superior to me?

    Ha!

I show my opinions and values very clearly.

I don't ask you for your respect, but I respect you in return.

    Back on topic please. :)
