RS Login Help.

Well, occasionally it has been doing this... I try to log in for the first time that day and it says too many attempts have been made from my ip...


Here is the first time today...

Note: Watch the different times...


Taken over a half hour later and still no success...


Any help with it is very appreciated!

EDIT!!! = It doesn't happen all the time but whenever I actually feel like playing it does it and it pisses me off... =\

 

i just saw a guide to change your ip, or i guess go to google and search how to change your ip

 

Changing my ip won't do anything... it will keep saying the same thing and I will have to keep changing my ip over and over again... Anyone Help?

No, but I know for a fact that it isn't a problem with my ip because otherwise I would have noticed more activity from my ip just not from RuneScape but other websites...

 

than i dont kno man try to log onto another account maybe?

Nah, I would be able to tell if they were using my ip... and I've tried it on all of my accounts they all do that...

 

i have that kind of problem. change your ip adress. or contackt your internet manager

 

Restart your router, it worked for me a couple of months back.

 

How do I restart my router? Just turn my DSL off and back on?

 

Holy shit! Nevermind! All I did was turn my DSL off and back on and now it is as good as new!! Thanks Vlad.

 

that is actually kind of funny a confusing problem solved with a simple DSL turn off then back on

 

When you turn DSL off and back on, it reassigns your IP address.

Do you have a firewall? The only thing I can think of is you have a trojan that's using your computer as a password hacking bot.

Try doing a few virus scans to make sure you're clean.

 

Nah, I've ran 2 scans in the past 2 days and I'm clean... I haven't opened any misleading files.

it is because you have been doing to many failed logins

 

if you're using a laptop and comp and switching off that might be the problem..
