Help with computer?

Hello, I have a problem. I have a YELLOW TRIANGLE WITH A "!" Inside of it, when I try to right click it, it disappears.


Does anyone know what is this, and what I can use to combat it?

Oh sorry, it could be a virus but I get it all the time on my desktop but when I go over it, it usually says what its about.

 

Will NOD32 Get rid of it? I have AVG 8.0, NOD32, Malwarebyes Anti-Malware. Which one should I use?

 

It's probably automatic updates.

 

No, it's not automatic updates, I am sure of that. You can ALWAYS right click and property automatic updates.

What i am thinking..i had this once, but i ended up disabling it somehow.

I mean if none of your anti-virus programs don't scan anything bad then I guess it's ok...

Try to hover over the little triangle, it might say something

 

Do you remember any steps you took toward disabling it? I tried System Restore, to no avail though.

 

Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance>System>Automatic Updates>hit turn off automatic updating (assuming you have xp).
