Need FireFox help >.<

Hey, I have this annoying problem with FireFox. When I try to open it the hour glass displays, then FireFox doesn't open. So I went to check in Task Manager, and try to kill it. It doesn't kill it and it's still left running. Here's a screenshot of it in Task Manager.



It usually runs around 55,000 K. I've tryed uninstalling, and reinstalling it and it doesn't work. So if someone could help me I'd appreciate it. :]

It is working in your picture? Or are you talking about occasionally? I think I may have a solution.

 

Do a system restore to a time when it worked.

You have two instances of explorer.exe. I'm not used to Vista so maybe someone can correct me, but as far as I know, that's very weird. Check for viruses, run spyware scans etc.

 

Maybe you should try closing explorer.exe
Or.. maybe check your startup list and disable it if possible.
Or..Try doing a system restore

 

I have never encountered it myself before, using firefox. You could always convert to Safari for your main browser, seeing as IE is shit.

 

It isn't Vista, just Windows XP with a black Royale theme. I've ran spyware scans and anti-virus scans, didn't come up with anything on either scan.

 

Kill one of the explorer.exe's...
