Question

Hi, I'm going to make a program that will tell people if their password is secure by checking it against a list of commonly used passes-but I cant find a long list-the longest one I can find is only 10 passes. Please help!

 

Lol, as if your not looking to make a pass cracking list?
The best way for a program to test passwords, would be to look at the length, if it's letters, numbers and symbols etc.

How would getting a giant list of passwords be good for testing security?

 

Well , i'd actually instead of password checker create password generator - easy memorable NON random words generator . Thats something i'd use for sure

 

Just download a password cracker there free and come with like 100k+ lists.

There is something that if you type in your password it tells you how secure it is...But it probably adds it to the list XD
