Now, some of you may be new to SCAR, and some of you may not. But either way, we both still need help. This thread is where people post problems, and other people come to answer. I will maintain a list of common errors and solutions here on the first post... Well, hobey-ho, lets go :p.

"Couldn't move plugins from SRL folder to plugins folder", or "Access Denied".

=> This means you are most likely on Windows Vista. Simply right-click on the SCAR icon, and choose "Run as Administrator". If you do not have that option, then do: Right-Click, Properties, Compatability, Run as Administrator.
    -------

"Smart Freezes at Checking for updates - 80%".

Go to C:\WINDOWS\ and delete .jagex_cache34 (something like that), you must have all rs applets closed (even scar)

I'm trying to make a script with scar that can do searches on the internet.
I have a file with over a 1000 things that the script can search for (like "youtube movies" and "warhammer online client download" or "diablo LOD" ,...)
i need the scarscript to pick a radom line in that file and type it into the search window.

is this possible with scar ???

Here is the one I have.

Basically when I play eve-online and use find-color function to search a small area of approximately 20x20 pixels, lets say for example to find a colour which would let me know that there is a warpgate there it will find it just fine, but then when it needs to switch tab and search the same area for a big fat cross which represents hostile npc - it won't find. guess why?

because it already found a warpgate there! What I think actually happens is that after it searched the area for the first time it stores the data of pixels in there and uses it again. Because when I do the same thing but reversed and find a red colour representing hostile ship, then order program to switch tab and search for warpgate, it won't find it because in it is memory there is big fat red cross in there.

I used get GetColor(x,y) function and two nested loops in my testing in order to prove this theory.

An intresting thing is that this issue affects only eve-online window and it works properly on Internet Explorer window for example.

My friend who has XP instead of Vista doesn't have this problem however

I start to think that it is some sort of protection Eve has with Vista (or at least it looks very much like it) because get this...

after the the first time you try to access color values from pixels they are as if set in stone and never change. Even restaring Scar doesn't help. I need to actually restart Eve, but it is sort of pointless since the history would repeat the first moment I attempt to GetColor or FindColor or any similar function.

Line 12: [Error] (12:4): Semicolon (';') expected in script

    "end."

Is the last line in script.
That's what it says in ALL the tuts to have...
I tried to put a semicolon, didn't work.
