    Is anyone into ska here?

If so, list a few of your favorite bands.

A few of my favorites are the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Planet Smashers, and Mustard Plug/

    You again?

I remember when you used to say "brah" all the time.

Ska is alright in small doses, but it gets old..

No, you used to say brah all the time. You would rip on whatever music I posted, then follow it with "listen to some ska brah"

R0fl. Hopefully I changed a bit. I'm still gonna rip on fall out boy and other decay dance garbage because it's purely garbage.

I've become quite a bit more open minded now though. The garbage will still stay garbage as long as I've actually taken the time to listen to it.

Reel ******** is good but that would fall under what is presumed to be "mainstream ska".

You need to look further than that to find higher quality ska.

Why would higher quality ska not be mainstream?

"mainstream" which it's really not just is a lower quality. It doesn't mean it's bad.

Reel ******** and Streetlight Manifesto are probably the only two bands presumed mainstream ska because whenever you ask people what ska they like, those two bands are the only ones they've ever heard of.

Therefore, they claim to like the genre but they've only heard of two bands.

Plus, Reel ******** stages each and every show so it becomes mundane. I still like them though.

You can't claim any genre is the best genre, as that is subjective to personal opinion.

Personally, I hate Ska. I think it sounds like complete and utter shit.

I don't see how anything mainstream can be seen as a lower quality. I've heard a few other ska bands and still think Reel ******** pull it off best. Confused:huh:

Most definitely. You gotta keep it rude, reckless, and drink brews for breakfast.
