Reporting Fit for scamming me $290USD

Explanation of the trade: Scammed me $290 USD when buying gold (500M -- $0.58/m)

Amount scammed: $290 USD


How they scammed:
Two discord accounts used: Main discord (MAIN) and an alt discord (ALT)

Told me to send $290USD to his Coinbase email address, $0.58USD/m Kept telling me that he would be "a few more minutes" 3 hours later, I heard nothing from him and didn't receive my gold

Started doing research on his website, found his IRL info in his TOS (https://fitgoldshop.com/legal/tos/download/) Used an alternative discord account to see if he would reply to that one
Replied and said the ALT discord account could buy osrs gp for 0.58/M
ALT replied that someone (MAIN) was mentioning they hadnt received the 500M they just bought from Fit

Fit messaged MAIN to meet him in lumby and to trade MAIN traded Fit, and messaged MAIN in discord saying "This you?" MAIN replied in discord, "Yes" After MAIN said "yes",

Fit replied "Ok", declined trade and logged off.
Fit took a picture of discord chat with MAIN, Manipulated convo photo with MAIN to make it seem like the trade was Accepted

Fit sent ALT the manipulated pictures making it seem like the 500M transaction was completed

Now of course because I was MAIN and ALT, I knew exactly what he was doing and called him out Mentioned that we would have "problems" if he didn't correct what he did.

Offered to refund or pay the 500M Told him I had his IRL details (Found in his terms of service on his website) and should expect contact if he doesn't correct what he did

Wrapping up:
I'm not sure if the site, https://fitgoldshop.com, is already blacklisted, but if it isn't, I would like to suggest it is to prevent any other users to fall pray to this type of individual. This goes to show, it doesn't matter how legitimate something seems to be, there are still individuals out there that will take advantage of others just to self-benefit. This is outright theft.

Ps... if you didn't note, he tried scamming a second time (my ALT discord) using the manipulated imgs

 

@yuma - Do you have non-cropped screenshots of the trade? Just the trade screen without anything else is not enough, and @Fit is banned so we likely won't get a response from him.

Unfortunately not, as it was a single screen shot for proof that it was me who was trading him.

To add to your request, I don't see any point of a non-cropped picture anyways considering that it would have shown nothing "extra" other than my inventory and a world map, and possibly the alt accounts username that I used to trade him with.

In context, what I sent was a trade screen proof that him and I were in the same trade.


I also don't know how you mean, "Just the trade screen without anything else is not enough". Not sure how much evidence you need.
Want to know what should be enough? The transaction records that prove I sent him money, and the obvious attempt he made to try and scam my alternate discord using clearly manipulated images. Not to mention he confessed to the alternate discord that he "knew" I was both accounts while clearly having no idea. Oh yeah... and the other 20 pictures I attached here.

Yes and you also have an message edit right after he confirmed he was in trade with you. I'd like to see what time the message was edited, can you provide me that?

You have proof you were in trade with him, but you didn't take a screenshot of the chatbox where it says he declined?

No, I do not have a picture of "Declined trade".


As for the "edited message", there was never one to begin with.
Here is a new picture I just took that has no "message edited". If you'd like to confirm via screen share, would be more that happy to show you.

As I mentioned, he manipulated the image he sent to my alternate discord to make it seem like the trade was "successful".

There is not enough evidence to suggest you were scammed. The screenshot you have does not show the chatbox, which we would need to see to support your claim of being declined.
