Cut the bullshit with the favoritism and unpredictable ban lengths

The only sensible punishment for doxing is a perm, it is immature, dangerous and can put people's lives at risk. Worse still more adults than teenagers do it, so they know the risks it poses (yet they do it anyway).

Anyone who does snake shit to anyone or hurt them in anyway doxxing deserves to be banned from the internet. Shit like this can actually go to the supreme court.

 

You guys do realize that it's not like we're talking about actual doxing. The rule is written so vaguely that JOKING about doxing is punishable, and posting any photo of anyone without consent, even if they allowed you to and didn't care, is bannable. It is also vaguely enforced when it comes to these vague additions that are considered doxing, because they're clearly not all on the same level and when they are they're still being enforced differently.

@BumBum got banned for joking about doxing Chloe, clearly a joke, and then banned again for stating an opinion on this thread.

It's just stupid how sensitive you guys and the staff members are when you realize anyone on the internet can easily do a public background check on you if they wanted.

The way the rules are INCONSISTENTLY and VAGUELY being enforced is problematic.

I'm not complaining about this having to be an outright permanent ban in every situation, just the rules more clearly laid out, more common sense, less people getting banned for joking, and if people are going to get bans for posting images of others in any case (even when the other person clearly didn't care) then have a non-vague rule that can be followed and makes sense in every situation, that is properly and equally enforced by moderators.

 

I think staff just update rule on this though? Zero tolerance for dox/joking. I see @Tony mention he give user relief, think was Gohan or you sorry if not remember. I feel zero tolerance is good idea, should not joke about such personal thing that can be taken out of context. Public information is one thing, abusing/targeting a user specifically is more serious than be able to Google or find social media etc. It is the action more than anything.

If staff ban every user for be immature, the issue is half of member will be on 3 day or 30 day ban (which is good for me bad joke sorry) but to be realistic I do not think this can work, how you say a slippery slope.


Edit: to see this post ItzChaos jokes about doxing me after drama you are complain about, and then keep joke about dox, I feel you ask to get perm ban and don't truly care about issue at hand, but more just post cause pissed about what happen. You know rules were update @Tony mention to you in post I see few day ago and now you do this again and keep joke about it. Can no longer take you serious.

I'm just reporting a violation. I don't agree with that being the rule but I can still report people for breaking it if the stupid rule stands, but again, this has nothing to do with the inconsistent enforcement and vague explanation of rules, unless a moderator rejects that reports then that just proves they're biased because @BumBum got banned for saying a similar thing.

Why do I talk about this, mods have multiple factors to put in place, and people aren't flawless and they do make mistakes. If it was up to me graves and dank would be getting 6 month bans, just becuase they made a huge scene over a joke and past activities
