    Serious question about paypal

ok so i've received a payement, delivered my services. Now he hasn't claimed and canceld... and apparently he won't be doing it. I read trough osme guide here on sythe about it so i'm sure i'il win if he reclaims.

But he hasn't reclaimd in the past 2 days. So when can i safely spend the money withouth getting reclaimd?

Asking this cause the ammount he paid is so high it goes over the money thats on my paypal account. (example: he gave 100$, got 10$, when i spend 70$ then i get -20$ credit ...)

So how long till it's safe to spend money? on paypal i say something about 60 days refund or something :s

    Serious question about paypal

I remember reading somewhere that a buyer has 10 days to file a claim. I can't seem to find the link though. Your safest bet is to contact Paypal via email or the resolution center and ask them how many days a buyer has to file a claim when dealing with virtual goods. They are usually pretty quick with responding to your questions.

    Hope that helps.

    Serious question about paypal

If you get a negative account balance, your account will be limited until you add enough funds into your account to pay back the buyer. The buyer has to wait at least 10 days to file a claim, but if he waits longer than 45 or 60 days(I don't remember), he can't file a claim anymore. I suggest spending the money as you like if you can prove that you provided your service(as long as it's not virtual). Speaking from personal experience(several years using Paypal).

    Serious question about paypal

If you agreed with the buyer that he should file a claim and cancel it before the sale, and after the sale he doesn't fulfill his part, it proves that he is a shady character. I do not recommend spending the money if you do not want your account limited.

I don't know, but the best people to ask would be Paypal staff.
