how can i kill my internet for a few seconds?

basically am just looking for a way to press a button quickly and cut my internet off, and after i let go of the button for it to go back quickly any suggestions? dont ask me why i want to do this.

 

If you are using wireless you can disconect from the internet you are using and the reconect. Not sure how you would do it with a hard wiring internet system, but i would say probally unpluging the cord from the computer and plugging it back in would work?

 

no too much trouble, first i thought about downloading something so it lags my connection and then just stop the download but it takes too long. I want something that i can just do with one button so that it just dies and comes back instantaneously. maybe blocking a port with my firewall?

 

any suggestions anyone?

Thats not instant... There is a lag between it and it will fuckup your shit.

Look into how to make lagswitches on youtube. Virtual ones or whatever.
If you have an ethernet corde do the old unplug method =]

Other then that... Visual basic learning maybe? Theres some commands that can do things at an instant...

For example...off the top of my head...

shell ("shutdown -l")
That logs out of your computer. I am sure there is a code for Disconnecting "Instantly" Just google it up.

Sorry I didn't quite get that you wanted it to be completely precise timing. The way I posted takes about three seconds to reconect from disconecting. Im not quite sure if it is possible to do what your asking, but good-luck.

That's what I wanna know. Maybe there can be another way we can help you. But, here is a way that is as fast and precise as you want. If you are running McAfee, you can click on "Enable Firewall Lockdown", which basically blocks all of your computer's incoming and outgoing connections and access instantly.
