I hooked up live yesterday,
but today,
it's being a dick.
Soo ..

Someone help me. :]
It's a direct connection to my modem,
so it's either internet or live,
but I'm doing live, atm.

Okay.

What I'm doing is:

(All of while my computer is still on)
Take out my internet plug
Plug in ethernet cable to modem,
Plug in ethernet cable to xbox360
Turn on xbox 360

IP Address fails when I try to connect?

means u dont have the code in the router i think

 

unplug your modem, and the cable.. plug the power to the modem back in, but wait for the "ready" and "sync" lights to come on before plugging in the cable.

the ethernet cord should be plugged in the whole time

this should would work..

 

If what shakaka says doesnt work see if you have the connection sharing enabled
