A SCAR Section Mod

I know requesting NEW mods isnt allowed., but I am not doing that... I am simply asking for a switch... Since there already is an INACTIVE scar programmer-- since "Town" is no longer active...-- and i feel there really has to be one. To many times have people tried to scam passwords in scripts. Even though I report them, at least 2-3 people lose their RuneScape accounts. There are also a lot of outdated scripts, and Good scripts that should be put in the "Approved Scripts Section". I know that Town was the "SCAR Programmer" but I am pretty sure he quit...

A new mod for this section would be a wonderful thing, removing the spam of people saying "rsbot is better", and people asking dumb questions like "is scar minimizeable" when the answer is like 2 threads down.

Also, some of the *stickies* are outdated, no longer work, or are un-economical in a sense. A new mod would be able to moderate this, and help alot of people learn to bot .

Well, why would you need a SCAR mod?
There's plenty of people here that know alot about SCAR and are willing to help, there really is no need to go rushing for a SCAR mod.

this isnt rushing, its been like this for almost 1 year. and there are ppl to help yes... but it is still a bad thing to have an unactive mod thats supposed to make sure scripts are safe or not, and move them to the "approved" section. that way people wont have any harm done to their accounts.

and u say alot of people know "alot" about scar... that can be a bad thing as well.. people can hide keyloggers in scar scripts... --in any macro for that instance-- and someone should be able to check for these.

I am not saying the admins are stupid, cause clearly they are not... I mean sythe is amazing !

but most of them dont know scar scripting... so they dont remove the posts of the bad script or w\e.

its called deobfusicating or something... it hides the code inside the script. and some scripts are over 1000 lines.

 

I totally agree with the situation, I think there is a great need for a mod there. Preferably one that knows scar.

i think jethr0x should be mod cause if he's willing to sit down a teach a little noob like me to script and be pationt he has what it takes also he trys and looks at all scripts anyway to make sure there safe and there are over 10 post of him scanning and posting the virus scan and he also post's proggies he would be a awesom mod
