User: salty dorito

Ironically, I was tied up into the Salty Dorito drama. Salty added me on discord a week ago and constantly had small talk. I setup a big deal between buyer/seller, expecting him to come through on his side. Eventually he said he didn't want to go first, and I moved on as I felt he was wasting my time. Fair enough he doesn't want to go first, but I couldn't understand the guy most of the time and quite frankly, he gave me sketchy vibes. He pushed how "trusted he was" and how he was "SUPER vouched". Whatever, it happens daily.

What my problem with was the lies. The lies that he said were..
"I have people who go first to me every day"
"i have plenty of vouches, 5k+ usd in trades and ppl go first to me everyday regularly"
Link: Selling bulk IKOV/SoulPlay and most other main servers Gold for 07 gp OR bitcoin!!

Please note, these are just SOME of the lies he says.. not even close to all of them.

As you can see in the link provided, I called him out for the lying and his response was:
"lol there all established? half of them went first to me and are not "big" sellers lol?"

If you take a look at his vouches here: Salty Dorito Vouches ;)

It is very clear that almost no-one (maybe but 1 or 2?) were massive gold sellers and 100% required this user to go first. He constantly lies about his "vouches" and "trust". He never, ever trades big buyers but somehow always has "stock". Wonder why? Well they expect him to go first, then he declines and they request MM and he disappears or finds excuses.. he's looking for an opportunity to scam and get away with it. Based on profile posts, warnings from KNOWN legit traders (see thread linked above) and his past where his "brother" scammed and he had TWC.

He claims Sythe is his "job" but how can Sythe be his job when all he does is small purchases of gold from big sellers and use those vouches to claim he's trusted?


After my brief interaction with Salty, he posted on my profile page + thread that I scammed him gold and money. I never intended to get involved with this guy, I just blocked him and moved on but once he started to try and defame me, I knew something was wrong.

I had no reason to try and "out" him or whatever. I think it's cool when I see new RSPS sellers and I am friends with many of them who do the same thing as me. I'm not out here to screw any other resellers, but I know a scammer when I see one.

Personally, his "vouches" to remove his past TWC were all him going first.. doesn't seem logical to me.


Here is how our brief interaction went on Discord:
Few lies here as well:
1) Said half of his vouches people went first
2) He said that "I" refused MM.. it's clear I said I'd use a MM and pay the fee if he could prove he had 10b before I went through the effort.
3) He said he has more vouches than me.. dollar wise he's wrong and number wise lol.


Once I realized he was wasting my time, I called him a moron and blocked him. He proceeded to post on my page/profile/thread that I SCAMMED him.

I've been actively trading OSRS/RSPS for the past two weeks and have done 500m+ OSRS deals and massive RSPS deals as well.

 

it's funny i keep seeing stuff like this being sad about me, yet i'm still waiting on just one person to provide ANY proof what so ever. disliking someone who getting into a arguement with somebody is NOT a reason to report them, it says in bold PROOF IS REQUIRED to report. so why are these posts even allowed WITHOUT ANY proof at all. they all say the SAME THING, and usually revolve around a arguement, and then say i wouldn't use a mm or something, when i keep all my discord messages with people, and not one person could prove that i denied that, and not one person has ever sent a verify message to even show that they were speaking to me. i am tired of this immature drama. and for it to be entertained without any proof or verification is pathetic.

this guy blew up my profile page/vouch thread/thread post saying "saltys a scammer" after i wouldn't give him the payment first and wanted a middleman only for the trade, and i had a staff member even HAD TO delete the ignorant messages for me. i never once said he was a scammer either, he refused to use a middleman during the trade, so i said trade this guy with a middleman only and be careful. i am tired of lies being entertained and nobody having proof but being listened to somehow. i wish you the best. it is so funny seeing these people post trying to down me, and talk so much sshit but can't prove a single thing and just say oh salty did this or that but can't back it up just because they dislike me or i didn't give them the payment first and wanted a mm and told people to be careful when trading them and they are so angry over it obviously. I could care less, i have used sythe for a long time, NEVER had issues and NEVER had any history of scamming or ever even had a person once NEVER say i did until these people, that again CAN'T prove ANYTHING at all!

 

Again, I never once said you scammed someone, so providing proof for that isn't necessary.

I'm simply giving the mods the reasoning on why I believe you should be TWC'd.
You still haven't addressed why you constantly lie about vouches and your trust. That would be a good starting point I'd assume?

I'm not sure if it's enough for a TWC, but I felt the need to post because imo, I think you're looking and waiting for the right scam.

You also love the play the victim card and man oh man, how ironic that is. When I blocked you from Discord, you raged and post on my profile/thread that I scammed you. Why'd you do that? You know I didn't scam you. I was over you, done with you and then you decided to be a child and make up lies and continue it.

I ONLY said be careful to anyone that trades this guy , he ATTEMPTED to on me, NEVER said you scammed me. i just wanted everyone to be careful because it was obvious. you are wasting peoples time by saying i don't like this guy, he said i was a scammer, so i will post under the REPORT A SCAMMER TOPIC, even though you didn't scam? this is insane. i don't have any issues with my vouches, and half them went first to me, i have nothing to prove to you anyways an i am done speaking to you. this is a waste of time and energy. think before you make a post. jump on the bandwagon some more.

@Jason can confirm that you posted on my thread + profile MULTIPLE times claiming I had scammed you? You're lying right in front of everyones eyes when they can confirm it? Like.... what? LOL.

You posted on my stuff first, and I posted on your thread mentioning the sketchy things. I never called you a scammer, I said you're sketchy and looking for a scam.

Go to your vouches and SHOW me where half of the people went first to you? Just provide me the proof that you aren't lying about that simple thing.

@Jason hopefully can look at the posts you made (which were deleted) where you said I scammed you and again, you'll be exposed for lying once again.

I can hardly keep on track with this guy, and hopefully what I've shown is enough to get this user a TWC. This seems like the exact user a TWC was made for.

He's even lying in this thread... which will be reviewed.

There really isn't anything here to warrant a TWC, you're both acting childish and lying/stretching lies to some extent. If you're uncomfortable trusting each other, simply use a middleman from here: MiddleMan Forums or find someone else to trade.
