Another Scammers Suggestion

Yes, im tired of seeing every1 get scammed uncluding me, i noticed how everyone in Sythe Complains theres a lot of scammers and such but go check the scammer section, theres atleast 15 posts without 1 single reply from a Mod/Admin, i think Mods should pay more attention to that section, that is ofcourse if u want to keep scammers out of Sythe, if u dont care then u probably just let the Scamming threads stay there without a revision, like ure doing already.

Okay i made a Mistake i beg u to Forgive me (sarcasm) Scammers are a REAL Problem and it is happening I got scammed, i made a mistake but all im asking for is more attention to scamming threads thats all.

 

Im going to post something from my other thread so hopefully this gets read by someone willing to do something about it.


Yes but maybe you didn't see what I said. I said have a couple of trusted admins specialize on the scamming section.

I understand people have lives, but if I posted something 5 days ago and nothing has been done yet then how are the admins meant to catch up on these things?

Between 2 people or more to just go through like 4-5 posts a day really does not take up a lot of time. And then the other admins can always lend a hand.

And all you need to do is ban the people that have the evidence against them, if it isn't enough evidence tell them that and maybe they have more evidence if not then that's that.

But at the moment what we have is people posting (in my case) daily ever since he to scam me and nothing has been down about him. The post is now like on the 5-6th page so your telling me if I don't go on he will get banned? no.

I even told the admin that he tried to fake and all he could say was 'im busy'.

It's easy enough saying 'dont get scammed' but it would make it a better place if most of them are kept out but if people see nothing is being done about it then in a way it encourages more to scam.

 

Just avoid scammers, it's easy to understand if it is a scammer or legit dude. Although i got scammed badly a year ago here.

 

Just don't trade if you're afraid of getting scammed.

 

Use an mm, look for good legit vouches etc..

 

Look; here is the down-low on the situation. If you get scammed- you become more cautious- you learn from your mistakes. If you get scammed, you will learn not to be an idiot again, if you get keylogged, you will learn to protect your computer, if you get "cleated" in the nuts during a football game, you will learn to wear a cup.

its your responsibility ... if you get scammed you get scammed if you dont you dont ... just get an mm or look for vouches.. and check if the vouches are true.
so always pay attention who your trading with.

 

Cmon people i understand its our responsability, i know that since its our items/money being lost. But if some member of this site scams that means since its our responsability for getting scammed no1 is gonna do anything about it? wtf is wrong with you, seriously Sythe wasnt like that when i joined, idk whats up with admins/mods, im just saying if a Mod or an Official MM scammed u (not likely) but if they do it would be ur fault for trsuting them?

Seriously im just saying its every1s responsability to get scammed, but scammers must have some kind of penalty for fucks sake.

Look. It's not up to a mod to stop a scammer. If they're a scammer, they've already scammed. You can't stop the past. You as a person, or a group can shun a user. You don't NEED a ban, just need to spread word.

 

Yes but NEW people to the forum and such wont know that will they, and there will ALWAYS be new people.

So your saying just let them scam people then those people will learn, but then they get new victims and it just goes on.
I would put money on it that if there was actually dedication into stopping these then the number of scammers would go down a lot making life even easier for admins.

Those specific forums you have set up are dedicated to trading, but where they are just full of scammers now like 1 in 10 are actually genuine posts.

The scammers in a way is your responsibility too as you set up the trading forums, people do need to be cautious when trading online yes. But when 75% of the posts in trade are scams then what kind of reputation does that give to sythe on the new guys joining. People search things on google such as 'wow wotlk beta key' lets say they get a search on these forums so they come here go to trade and someone attemps to scam them so thats that.
But if it was successful then they would come back.

There's things that can be done if the people at sythe actually put work into it.

For example make rules like people with a certain amount of posts or/and havent been registered for however long cant post any selling threads.
Because at the moment its really not hard to try and scam, you make an account you make a post, done and just wait, and people such as me are new to the whole MM scene, in my case a MM was added to our convo but turns out it wasnt a real onem i caught him out, he had a very similar email to the real one, another person might not spot that.

Scammers are everywhere its down to people not to get scammed but its also down to the admins to get rid of the known ones not just do anything.
Look at ebay they always have scammers on there but they get rid of known ones fast, people cant sell without having bank details and things like that.

Also the IP ban should be implemented the first time they scam not 2/3 time that's just stupid. A scammer is always a scammer same as a hacker on a game is always a hacker like 99% of the time.

 

Meh anyways not gonna change the way u think, im just dissapointed about sythe, no wonder every1 from Fagex and other Cheating sites only use Sythe to Scam, i was wondering why but now i know.

Keep up the good work Sythe staff and ull continue to get worse and worse. Like it already is.

 

stupid? a BAN would ensure they never scam on this site again.

but you must also consider... admins and mods are busy, maybe doing things behind the scenes...

Its simple to say "Don't get scammed" but is it that easy? Even people who have vouches still scam. Some are actually quite good at it. If only greed wasn't part of human nature
