    Stop the scammers?...

It seems to be like scammers are just running wild here and not a lot is being done about them, I reported one about... 5 days ago and still no reply at all and hes there making new threads every day and then when I want to sell something he makes lies cos hes mad that I spam his threads advising people not to go first cos he tried to scam me.
Maybe have a couple of people specialize in this?

Woah, what a great innovation you've suggested!! No one ever thought that we should try to stop scammers!
Wow, good idea, maybe we should have some moderators, whatever those are.

    Stop the scammers?...

i cant say much since im new here and havnt been scammed nor have i scammed at all.
im on hols atm so cant do much rs stuff
but i will agree with scammers all round they r pests who look to cheat runescape with cash and items.i think there should be a report mod who handles reports and bans who ever got reported after a fair trial.

I think you all need to learn how sythe works. All mods do reports, both spam and scam. There are plenty of mods, but sometimes they are all busy with their real lives. They can't just sit here all day and do scammer reports.

That's because they get in shit if they ban someone they aren't supposed to.

    Watch out for yourself.

Yes but maybe you didn't see what I said. I said have a couple of trusted admins specialize on the scamming section.

I understand people have lives, but if I posted something 5 days ago and nothing has been done yet then how are the admins meant to catch up on these things?

Between 2 people or more to just go through like 4-5 posts a day really does not take up a lot of time. And then the other admins can always lend a hand.

And all you need to do is ban the people that have the evidence against them, if it isn't enough evidence tell them that and maybe they have more evidence if not then that's that.

But at the moment what we have is people posting (in my case) daily ever since he to scam me and nothing has been down about him. The post is now like on the 5-6th page so your telling me if I don't go on he will get banned? no.

I even told the admin that he tried to fake and all he could say was 'im busy'.

It's easy enough saying 'dont get scammed' but it would make it a better place if most of them are kept out but if people see nothing is being done about it then in a way it encourages more to scam.

It's not that easy. They have to make sure the pictures aren't fake, there is sufficient proof, that is the right MSN, etc.
