This very old question hinges on whether it's possible to program an entity that has subjective experience, AKA experiences qualia. Since it's impossible to know whether a programmed entity experiences qualia, the question is unanswerable.

 

Yeah ofc there wont ever be a way to know it but speculations are very welcome

 

I've seen that video before. At a first thought it seems so ridiculous. But if you really think about all the dimensions (not only the three we're experiencing) there's nothing that says it can't be true.
