Last I heard "Acid" is not for sale. So be careful when dealing with him. never go first or attempt an in game purchase without using a middleman. (A lot of OG names leave their private chat on with the hopes of being contacted to buy their names. they pretend they don't know the name market, or sythe, and then they make you go first and scam)

 

Thanks for that. Hes actually a good friend of a good friend in real life, I've known him for years, i dont know why he would try to scam but i will keep an eye out for fishy contact with him. IF it were the real seller, would you be able to put a price on it

 

In this market anywhere from 500-750m I'd guess. I could see other sellers listing it higher

 

if they owned the name before 2012 then it doesnt matter what you do their acc is implemented to have that name attached to the account permanently. so if they sell it and it gets put onto another acc they can make a report and get their name back.

i recall someone named BERT here on Sythe had a rare name called "Rat" i think it was? and it got recovered. so there's that...

 

If the account username is the RSN itself then that is always a risk. Once it is transferred off the account the owner can request it recovered (if that happens several times Jagex will usually bind the name to it so it can never be moved again). Most scammers already took advantage of this in the past so now they have force-bound names.

Unfortunately names that have to be force capitalized due to having an L instead of an I are not considered rare. It’d be pc’d at zero

 

Zero, names kinda offensive too. Some Mod might force a name change.

Going to go ahead and guess Iron Yordle is related to Blitzcrank but Zero as well given how obscure it is.
