Are you looking to invest in a currency or project?

 

Low cost index funds. Most of them are cap-weighted, so pick the one with lowest fees.

Pretty straightforward advice, don't put cash in high-volatility investments if you can't stomach em. You're just gonna end up having nightmares.

 

I think you should consider your appetite for risk.
Go see a financial planner or a trained professional who will give financial advice catered for you, rather then just seek general advice you will receive on forums. Everyone is different, maybe you cannot handle high volatility investing in cryptos such as what was mentioned above.

I might be a bit late, but mate. If you'd have to ask random people on the internet where you should put your money, then I don't think you should be investing in the first place.

I would recommend doing your homework thoroughly on whatever you decide to invest in. Make sure you ask questions, look at reports, etc before you decide completely. Remember investing is really a waiting game. Your profits will not be coming in overnight, they take years. I've invested in a few companies around my area, and I'm still waiting on a good return. But I agree with the guy who posted above, I would go see a trained professional if you're really serious, and are willing to dump a lump sum of cash into an investment. Because you're really taking a risk as well. So make sure you are prepared to lose that cash.

I feel like Crypto could be a gamble, Maybe look into Real estate, I've flipped about 4 houses within the past 6 years. I buy them all beat up and fix them up and I tend to have about $100-300k profit depending on the estate and how much youre willing to invest.

I wouldn't invest $100k in crypto. It's too volatile. Invest in stable medium risk funds (a couple different ones to spread the risk). Important: don't invest your $100k all at once if you're doing funds. Rather buy in a % each month.

^ That is a long term investment. You can expect a 10% increase each year.

 

What do you think about ICO? ICOs have the potential of being a powerful force in the development of open-source blockchain technologies. ICOs are popular for multiple reasons. Also the ICO method generally allows anyone in any geography to raise money. It also generally permits anyone to contribute. I wouldn't see that as a long term investment. The hype around blockchain and crypto can make you lose everything in matter of hours. Too high volatility. Stick to the conventional investments is my advice.
