shit man that is some rough shit. be glad your healthy and alive. you can always fix your house and the thing is that the outside of your shore house isnt that bad. considering that your next door neighbors house is completely gone! good luck with everything man. great pictures helps set the atmosphere.

By what i can see, and i am not making shit up, but by your pictures it doesn't look that bad.

I mean, in ohio we have topple tree's, downed power lines, some houses have holes through them from tree's, some roofs gone. I do not believe we had any collapsed houses though.

The flooding would have to be the worst of them.

 

Oh yeah believe me there's all of that and more here, but if I remember correctly a lot of people died in Ohio, too. And it definitely was not as bad as it could have been, for me specifically. For some reason our house stood a LOT better than most houses, which our insurance agent said was because of good design and construction. But if you look for some pictures of victims of Ike you'll be amazed, especially at the Bolivar Peninsula, which is now Bolivar Island..

i live in houston an went through Ike. the worst part were the lights and water...i didnt hav those for about a week...my house was somewhat damaged but we managed
