Pirating? Wrong or Right?

It's not that big of a deal I figure what Shakaka said... they have so much money right now to begin with nothing is going to hurt them if they lose $20 for a CD with 10 songs on it...

 

I think its okay with songs, but if you profit off of someone else's work thats wrong. I personally just listen to them on Youtube. I just think its better off.

 

Your sort of wrong there and sort of right. Suppose it is a Groups fist album? Then their broke before they actually sell the albums. Thats when they lose profit. Say it was a 6th albu, then it wouldn't matter becuase they have money from their first, second, third, fourth, and fifth albums.

Many people do it, as long as you're not selling things as your work I think it's fine. It's not harming others or hurting their business.

Take it from their perspective though. They put in a lot of time,
effort and money just to make their product. If they start
letting people get their products for free then they will eventually
end up losing money. How many people do you think will even
bother making movies, music....ect anymore?
If they lose out on their investment, then we lose out on our media.

 

i like pirating well i make profits fromselling bootleg movies and cds lol i dont use programs that involve file sharing there are too many viruses floating around for me but i dont work on warez forums in my spare time thats where i get everything from

 

it sorta aloud and not cuz people cant fine you if other people put on internet and you download off them the people who orignaly post it should be fined

 

Until DRM is gone from existence I will continue to torrent my music albums.

It depends, sooner or later if people stop paying to go see films, or buying DVDs, the quality of the films are bound to be affected...that being said, i love bit torrent.

No more said, suppourt 100%. Pirating encourages bands to make money out of live shows rather than records which increaes the availability of live music to the population which can't be a bad thing.
