Hiring a programmer( Details Inside)

Myself and a few friends and programmers have thought of the idea to make scar scripting much easier with a much more user friendly program. But before we are going to start any developing we need know if there is allot of interest in this program.

It will released for free, but a pro version will be an additional $5.00

I've been planning this project for a while now and I've finaly come to the stage where I want to hire someone to program the program for me.

I've talked with a few programmers and they have suggested things similar to what you were talking about. The majority of them have suggested using the scar language but its more or less a new program based on your input. The user will be able to view it as raw Scar or just as a lite show. Where the user clicks a function which appears as a box with a picture/symbol and the user can place these into a programme sentence.

I've got quite a bit to do before any work starts. I'm going to design an interface soon to give a basic look for the program.

The Pay
I will pay whoever does this for me $250 and 50% of all profit made on sales.

I'd be interested, but I presume you'll be doing it in C#. >_> I know very little of that, but my Visual Basic is pretty freak'n good. So, keep me posted if you need any VB noobs.

Also just a question, would you be bound to this program after the first version is released? (Would you have to keep doing updates etc, or would you get 'x' amount more for making updates)

I would do it for free, but I'm too busy working on my own bot. Hope it all works out.

You really want this done; $250 AND 50% of all profits? Damn. I know basic C and I can learn Java if asked to. I personally don't believe that Scar is even a real programming language. But whatever.

 

isnt scar based of pascal or somehting just a question

 

SCAR is a scripting macro application developed in Delphi, hence the scripts are of a Pascal format, but they are limited to SCARs own methods unless I'm mistaken.

 

If you can script scar raise your hand. I think I might have to get multiple people to work on this.

 

All it is is a Pascal based script, so I can script it for sure, even though I've not used it very often.

I usually work with C#.

I highly suggest hiring professional freelancer's whom would be much cheaper and efficient.

 

I can script in Scar, and I also made a simple scripting program in VB6 a few weeks ago.
