Sythe.org MMORPG?

i think that this is a great idea i think that its good to have like the same skills or what we do in runescape but has better actions like diablo or WOW.
and needs to have a better concept like jobs and leveling up there jobs.

 

Jobs, I don't think so. Leveling up jobs would be stupid too. You need a Grand Exchange, or something like it. You could make it the Supreme Exchange The map should be somewhat like RuneScape's and Age of Empires' maps. Many trees, some rivers maybe, an ocean somewhere, and you could also make some gameplay like that of Age of Empires. Such as, switch to the building view, and build some building for your own area, and maybe establish a country, etc. Share large amounts of land, and, if you want an ocean in it, you might want to put in the building option, so you could build...maybe a canoe, a boat, Frigate, Warship? Depends on your construction level. I think this could really take off, and I would pay some pretty good money to play a game like this that's constantly updated.

Since this is mainly a cheating website, how will you handle cheating going on in your own game? Are you going to allow some people to cheat but not others? Or will it be some kind of pay-per-cheat kind of thing going on?

 

hey, alot of people want this to happen so i think that you should fund it most sythe.orgers will play it.

 

i think its an awesome idea, i see where your going with the concept and it looks like its heading more towards WoW than diablo.
But the only concern i have is if its just going to be another runescape private server where everyone has max money and wears the l33t items.

But if this is gonna be a game and not just a basement creation im sure the sythe community can make it awesome.

Will this be a full download or run through a client? and are we allowed to have private servers?

 

to attract players to your game:

1) A good player versus player which is able to make profit from (ex: staking, old-wilderness from runescape)

2) not high then 10$ p2p a month. And a f2p option

3) decent servers !!!! so it doesn't block or crash every 5 seconds (like moparg)

4) an easy & good trade system

5) out of the box: if the game gets active, be awere it will get RWT'ing on it.

6) basic skills & quests.

 

PVP is a must

 

ummm the coder should be skilled and create something better then rs :S

I think people are starting to get a little over the top with all the suggestions. The game is still a long, long way away from being produced. Were still mainly on step one, coming up with some ideas. For this to be fully finished, it's going to take many months, maybe a year or more. And, you'll need a fair ammount of people to donate still, creating yourown MMORPG is far from cheap. But if it works out, Sythe could earn a lot of money from this. Good luck, i'm hoping it happens.

 

If someone has suggested this before disregard this post;
I HIGHLY suggest using the Half Life 2 or Orange Box(EP2) Engine.
This will make things a whole lot easier to code, and you will not need to code EVERY single thing.
The graphics are ideal default, and can be enhanced with coding,
You can easily add new models,
You can add new everything.

i really like this idea umm i think that we need something new to get people on it tho like old wildy style rs if u no wat i mean like it would be cool honestly i would join but i think its neat how rs made it so u can lvl individual lvls like str and stuff like that i think is neat but you would need something different to get people to come and play

my friend is a hoster and i am willing to sell u everything u need for it umm he has his own company and im just some 1 who helps him get customers but like i said if u need to get in touch with me u no where 2...

he buys his hosting comp from a company shell and its awsome by wat im told .........
