[WIP] A couple of pixels

Well, I tried my hand at pixeling and I couldn't think of what else to do with them, so I decided to post them. Be aware these are my first EVER pixels.

First one:



Well, I draw like that a lot and tried turning it into a pixel. It turned out ok, then I realised I didn't know how too shade it. =(

Second one:



On this one I tried to turn yet another drawing into a pixel. I like this one better then the first, but it is only two colors.

Just thought I should show them and learn something out of it.


P.S. Riiped, could you add me on MSN? You are pretty much the only pixeler on the forum, and I hope to learn some things from you. =D

 

I like the first one better than the second. It's nice for your first try.

 

Nice start. You need to learn shading. Just follow my tutorial on how shading works. You got the easy part down pretty well though, especially the top. That's pretty good.

Dustein buddy, why did you quit on the first one? It looks so much better now that you actually have all the letters there. I would say keep working on that and, as riipped said, work on the shading and try different colors and such on there until you are happy with what you have.

 

I quit with the first one because I couldn't figure out how to shade it. I suck at shading.

And the reason for the "Dustin" one is because THAT IS MY FUCKING NAME. Is it not genius?

 

As the other guys said, I like the first one best
