Should i trust this mail from jagex?

I'd go to the link and type in a random shitty name n pass, if it logs in its fake.
It looks real though. it's telling you to recover your account =P

Back in 2003 they asked for your email when you registered.

jagex don't send to you mail.

 

The link is valid, and it's not a phisher.

But Gilles is right, Jagex NEVER sends email - they only contact you through the in-game mailbox.

 

not true... i knew a phishing site that when you spotted a targ you entered their username at the admin site and sent them to the phish site and they HAD to use their username or they wouldnt beable to log in

i actually almost fell for it

 

strange but if jagex did send you it , i would react quickly

 

If you got it via e-mail don't trust it, first of all they'd send you the notification in your in game mailbox. And if it was to be sent through e-mail they'd tell you the name of the account.. Not putting one is is leaving the possibilities of you putting in multiple account names and passwords allowing them to steal multiple accounts.

 

Dont trust it says in jagex ToS it will never send you an email.
