Play Runescape HD Fullscreen in f2p.

This is my first post i'll try not to mess it up =/.

This Small Guide will show you how to play Runescape Fullscreen on f2p. Basically this will remove the Ads and navbar which prevented the game from fitting to the exact size of your web browser.

Step 1

Download And Install Opera ( Its a free web browser like firefox) i was using version 9.24 when i made this guide.

Step 2

Load Runescape HD and choose your favorite f2p world.

Step 3

As the Game is loading Right Click on a blank space and select Source.


Step 4

A New Tab will open containing the source code, Locate and Delete

Press Apply Changes and the page containing the game client will reload.
If you have done this correctly you will notice that the ads are gone.



Step 5

Goto View > Fullscreen ( or press F11 ) And Enjoy!.

yea on firefox just hit F11 or go to View -> Fullscreen.

 

that makes it lag slightly more then the normal just full screen

 

Nice guide. (Firefox owns by the way, but Opera is decent and is better than IE.)

I tried this and it makes me lag more than regular fullscreen, but removing the ads was interesting. You know why it doesn't work in FireFox?

 

For me its much easier to do this in Opera rather than in Firefox 2.0 ( im too lazy to update it XD )

Thank you,this was pretty helpful.
However there seems to be a compromise in terms of game performance cos i lagged especially badly when doing this.
Any suggestions?
