    2FA Issues

    Trying to log into my main account and it's requesting 2FA code. I have since upgraded to a new phone and my 2FA codes were lost within the transfer.

    Is there a way to remove the 2FA from the account so I can access it again?
    I can provide any information necessary.

    2FA Issues

    First off, if you saved it, enter your long 2FA backup code that you were prompted to keep when setting up 2FA where you would normally enter your short codes.

    When requesting a 2FA removal, please note the administrative team needs proof of two or more of the following things:
    • Post from a home IP
    • Recovery phone number*
    • Current email address
    • Skype/Discord used in the past or present**
    • If you have donated directly through PayPal;
      • Transaction date and amount
      • PayPal email
    NOTES:
    *Registering 2FA to your account does not automatically add your number as a recovery phone number, you would have needed to add this manually in your Account Settings.

    **Third party account access (such as email and Skype/Discord) are not substantial verification methods - the whole point of registering 2FA to your account is to have EXTRA security past regular recovery methods.

    Failure to provide aforementioned details when requesting 2FA removal may result in a delay.

    If you cannot provide what is required, then you MUST prove without a reasonable doubt that you are the true owner of your account. If you are unable to do this, your 2FA will NOT be removed.

    Since you don't have an exact home IP match, please provide the following:

    • Previous ISP/Log-in locations:
    • If your email contains your actual name, please provide proof of this in the form of an ID. You may blur out any irrelevant information and this will be hidden from the public.

    I've disabled 2fa on your account. Be sure to re-enable 2fa on your account and keep the long code somewhere safe in case you find yourself locked out again - you can use this code once as a 2fa code entry so that you can log in and manually disable it yourself.
