If it's dead put it on the side of the road... if it isn't you should get it to a VET thats just cruel to put it in a bag if its still alive!

I really wouldn't tell the owners tbh. You can't make up an excuse except 'I meant to shoot your cat'. Because I have good aim and if I tried I probably couldn't kill it with one shot lol

The cat was probably still alive, a BBGun cannot kill a cat, you probably just hit a fatty deposit, nothing major. It most likely just passed out from the pain, cutting the throat would still be a painful death, a strike to the brain with a knife would be a far more effective method. Also, don't worry, you don't think the men in the abattoir get shit scared every time they kill something, you are scared because you killed something, chances of you getting caught are slim to nil, and getting caught is what you are scarred of. Just choose a secluded spot and bury the damn thing, make sure the spot is hidden. Take it to a near by park and bury it there if you don't want it related to you in any way, I would also like to emphasis to USE GLOVES.

Shit happens, even though you didn't mean to kill it, you should still do something about it. Do you live in the country?

 

I don't have gloves and don't want to get my hands dirty. I grab everything and killed it in a plastic bag. As to burying it, I would bury it while in the bag, but I don't know where. Golden Gate Park is the only park I know of, but is a huge tourist attraction and monument of San Francisco. The only place I can think of burying this is the play ground. Don't want to bury this at the beach.

 

Meh, just pick it up and throw it in a public trash can, seeing how you are in San Fransisco

 

I think it would have been better off if I just kidnapped the cat, and burn it on someone elses microwave than to of watch it fall on the floor and bleed to death then having to cut half of it's neck. Would have had a laugh rather than scared and disgusted shitless. I'm just glad I did this all in the dark, would have been 5 times worst if it was in plain view.

Its okay Curt, I shoot lots of cats where I live. Cats are always roaming around my house and we just shoot them to get rid of them. They don't taste too bad either. Saves you a days worth of grocery meat.

Honestly i would just pick it up and throw it in the dump. Its better to do something then not get caught or i would just throw it in the woods. But by now it's morning and you probably already did something. Even though it is your fault i do feel bad for you.

 

u could kill it fully, its in pain obviously, then bury it somewere.... and they will jst think it ran away

 

Take it to the vet and inform your neighbors that their cat has been shot by a BBgun. Say you were on the computer and you heard a mild shot and a screaming cat or something like that, tell them you think they were punks or kids roaming the streets on their bikes with BBguns or something. And hide your BBgun.
