Grey chins are actually quicker xp than red, and also sell for about 300-400 each so decent munnies :)

I wanna hunt firegiants with you. =D

But I am pretty sure red chins are the fastest way. Grey chins get trapped at about the same rate as reds, but with less experience and salamanders just plain suck, even though it MIGHT be faster (have to drop or bank them, don't sell, ect).

And the selling prices for red chins are beast.

Red chins: 700-800gp last time I checked. They sell pretty fast.
Grey chins: 400-550gp last time I checked (which was a LONG time ago). Not sure how fast they sell.
Salamanders: No fricken clue, but they don't sell well.

Red chins are the fastest experience after 70. Salamanders are garbage exp. 70-99 hunter really doesnt take that long at red chins and the 35m+ is nice also.

    70-99 hunt FASTEST WAY?

    Red Salamanders at level 73:

I used all four trees for the training and was constantly on run.

    Start Time: 10:08 pm

Exp at start time: 103,383 exp

Finish Time: 10:39 pm (One Minute extra because had to log out {30 seconds for logout and in again}, because of that random salamander that gets stuck behind the curved bone and the tree and doesn't seem to want to get unstuck >.<)

Exp At Finish Time: 62,963 exp

    Therefore:
    103,383-62,963= 40,420
    Exp per hour = 40,420x2
    = 80,840 exp per hour >.<

    THAT OWNS!

    Gear Used:
Full Larupia (don't think it makes any difference)
    Boots Of Lightness
    Spottier Cape
Super Energy Potions (Used all the way through training)

Erm, I'm not quite sure about the exp per hour of chinchompas though, but it's gotta be less than that for sure.

Please add if my working is incorrect but the start and finish exp is definately right (I double checked).

    Hope that helps =P.

That's one big ass box trap btw...

Oh and i've heard black salamanders are REALLY bad exp... but i've never hunted them.

My advice is that if you want the money go for chins, if you want the exp go for red salamanders but only until level 80
because then chinchompas are definately better exp because there are only four trees for traps, but with chins you can lay five traps.

P.S: sorry for the long comment =D
