Yes, the title is correct. I'm done completely with high school tomorrow and never thought this day would come if i'm being honest. I'm scarred and very anxious on to what life will bring these next couple months. Any simple advice someone could possibly pass my way? I'd appreciate it all, thank you.

I would suggest figuring out what you want to do next asap. College, university, etc. BUT, dont rush and choose something you'll regret.

I would suggest not taking a break like most people did, like I did. Figure out your next move now and work towards it.

Best advice I could give you.

Happened to me, studied something because my parents told me to, and wasted 4 years of my life studying something I didn’t like. Be sincere with yourself and find what excites you, best of luck!

And as Kyle said, don’t take breaks

Reward yourself. You've just accomplished something that far too many don't get to! You should be happy that you've made it to this point and be excited for your future! Don't rush yourself, be patient and careful with your future plans and hope for the best :D

Have you asked yourself what you want to do? If you feel you need a break from studies you should consider getting a job or occupy yourself with something else. It's never a good idea to just drift without having a plan. Most people just drifting end up feeling miserable.

rather than "take a break," take classes at a community college to fulfill unit requirements for a 4 year university. You save a ton of money on your education in the long run and it's less commitment because you can change your major at any time during those years without any serious repercussions (as opposed to a 4 year uni which may not let you change majors once you're in upper division classes).

you can work part time or choose to live off of financial aid and food stamps (ebt), as a student its actually a totally viable option because there are so many scholarship opportunities and student resources (generally speaking, depends where you live).

If your parents are broke but you live in the U.S. you can get like $3,000 a semester just from federal grants and about $190 a month for food if you seek out EBT. That $190 a month for food helped teach me a lot about budgeting.

I would highly recommend continuing your education, if not for better job opportunities then at least to become a better educated citizen. It's sad when you can sense the cerebral shortcomings of a grown adult who didn't go to college. For your own sake, don't become one of those people.

A few things. The first thing I would recommend is that, whether or not you pursue post-secondary education, you continue to educate yourself, starting now. The second thing is that you should engage in some serious self-reflection to identify what your real strengths and weaknesses are, what you think you like and dislike and why, and what you want to do (or not do) in life. Self-reflection should be a continuous process, and although your reflections at any particular point are perhaps not particularly useful, any trends in your honest self-reflections are. For example, if you started wanting x out of life, but a year later realised you now want y out of life, what happened? Try to understand yourself. Finally, you'll come to realise that, in life, save for your family, no one really cares about you. Hence, if you want something to happen, you'll have to bring it about with your actions — if you depend on people who probably don't care about you to bring about the things you want, you're just relying on luck.

So, very concisely: read, meditate, be independent and hold yourself to account.

Well you have tons of options as you're young and going out into the real world now. You could look into working, which isn't a bad idea as money could fuel your hobbies and entertainment as you'll have more free time out of school. Don't feel pressured to go straight into college as you don't have to take the same path as others. Also now that you don't have to be at high school during the day you can focus on your passions and what excites you in life, which is the best feeling as you have time to explore those things. I think the best decision I made after high school was taking Italian speaking classes as it explored boundaries I never attempted and I met some amazing people who moved here from overseas, so maybe venture into picking up a new language if that fits your criteria . Another awesome thing to take up would be learning how to cook as this is an awesome way to learn a skill that many don't have, and also a great way to impress women and helps you tremendously if you plan on moving away for college etc..
