This forum is honestly becoming so uptight, you can't have any fun in it. Pen, you even ruined the fucking spam forum with your idea of vouch threads. +1

 

Jesse. One of these days you may come to understand that this site revolves around Runescape primarily. Without the existence of Runescape, there would be no Sythe.org.

The majority of Sythe.org's members are here to use the markets, and most of these members will consequently attain vouches. The mess that was being caused all over the site due to a lack of place to store vouches was nightmarish.

Now, the Spam Forum is generally a forum filled with garbage and nonsense. There is no reason for vouch threads not to go there. If you don't like them, don't click on them. I know I certainly don't. Just let the thread die so the user can edit it and put his extra vouches on it.

There really is no way the forum has been 'ruined' by the admission of vouch threads in that forum. It makes very little difference if you avoid the threads themselves entirely.

I don't see how the Spam Forum can be ruined. It was a garbage dump in the beginning.

 

The current administrative team has no concept of how the vouch system was originally supposed to work (except with the exception of SMR and possibly Matthew).

Vouches were not meant to be given by ordinary members. They were to be given BY STAFF MEMBERS ONLY and ONLY ONE WAS NEEDED. They were used in a MM application.

Somehow, things got out of hand and resulted in the mess we have today.

 

The MM system states that you need one vouch, but that's only for MM applications. The vouch system is not restricted only to the MM application process.

Also, it's one vouch from a veteran, not necessarily a staff member.

 

I place every single bit of blame possible on the leaving of dave aswell as billy being here.

 

Also there was a higher clique which everyone aspired to join. Unfortunately some idoits got in.

i could not agree more. the amount of people spamming their posts is ridiculous, then they abuse that by acting as though they are better than everyone and respected, and worst of all, trusted.

 

Seriously, I know it's fun and some friendships online are worth a lot to people, but Sythe needs to stop being treated as a real life hang-out. Xjaa is right. Cliques are so common and people are acting stupid to get in them. Everyone's trying to add to the fire with their own set of eDrama problems; as if life already doesn't offer you enough shit to deal with.
