Scammer's profile link: SouthE

Explanation of the trade: about a month ago this user came to me to sell the name "wow". He showed no proof of owning it, but agreed on a price and said I could transfer it if we found a suitable middleman. He refused to find a middleman himself and waited on me to find one (he had a fake account already add me earlier and was ready to change their discord over to whichever middleman I found). When I realized it he deleted me as a friend. Earlier today he re-added me (probably didn't realize we had discord history) and PROMPTLY deleted me on that discord. He then added me again on THREE other discords, one with the exact same name that he used when he was originally imposter scamming, and another one being the fake middleman account he used the first time.

he QUICKLY deleted his friend requests from both fatcatgold and his original exoticsouth account (luckily my phone still showed the history of who had added me).



original message from him back in May (notice the dates on all of these discord messages coincide), also I call him "sir calvin" because his display picture at the time was Calvin from Calvin and Hobbs (future picture will show)





Towards the end of this conversation he started ghosting/ignoring me. He was attempting another imposter scam during this time (I looked through our friends in common to see he had Sunny added, as well as his fake middleman that he had changed to F.E.A.R at the time)

***EDIT*** here is the fake middleman that added me originally (his discord name was Service when he first added, then changed it to FEAR, now it's fatcatgold)







I messaged the real FEAR about it but unfortunately was too late to help the victim of that scam.



Anyways, I'm sure I've posted more than enough on here. User is an imposter scammer, and has had successful scams in the past (I got in touch with the person above as well after they scammed him and have more discord pictures if we need more evidence). I wouldn't doubt he's a mass ban evader on sythe, or spends most of his time lurking.

It went imposter, imposter's fake middleman, south (aka chris kane), and then you. If these others are in fact trying to imposter you, then you have THE WORST timing in the world to have sent me a discord invite minutes after they added and deleted their initial friend requests. To me you realized you had discord history with me from when you attempted to scam in the past, so once you realized it you deleted your friend request, and then added me on a fresh discord with no history.

I was also added by an imposter and knew it wasn’t him because I sent vivi a request to finding out the list of names he hasn’t for sale.

If there is any other information I can provide I will be happy too!

 

Do you think it has any coincidence with the timing I made my thread trying to buy a name ? But I was added by an imposter after I made that thread

 

Couple things. You claimed you knew he was a fake vivi because you added ME to buy names, correct? In chronological order going off the Imgur you provided, you called him out on being fake before having even added me on discord yet. I sent you that message at 17:54 only moments after I got spam added by all of your discords. You talked to the fake Vivi account at 17:51?

 

The list in chronological order was me looking at threads finding yours sending you a request, this fake vivi added me so I knew he wasn’t fake. Then you probably accepted me after the conversation.

Too much "coincidence" for me man. I have a known imposter "vivi#9870" with a lower case v. I've never heard anything regarding this fake discord that contacted you. I have not blocked nor deleted you (either you did it yourself, or you left the only discord we mutually shared). Going to leave this to the mods. The fact you added me moments after all the known scammers did is just too obvious for me to ignore.

 

Honestly man I would have to agree with you it does seem bad and it’s always going to come down word vs word. All I can do is give my assurance that they are not me. But yeah I’m down for mods to sort this and I’m sorry for any hassle this may have caused.

 

AND yeah devil told me that I was banned from a trading discord which is probably the reason. Didn’t delete ya

Yeah it’s isn’t me I am so confused with why it is as much as everyone. I thought my name wasn’t pretty unique and is name I use everywhere twitter etc.

This is my home IP. I live where I work in a chateau with about 30 other people so I use a public WiFi.

 

I think if it was me I wouldn’t of contacted with same name but it isn’t but me so. There also isn’t any evidence that it is me apart from the same username (which is just a huge coincidence)
