First smudge

I went for my first smudge this evening, took me longer than I had hoped for though.

I think it turned out pretty good for my first smudge attempt, what do you guys think?

 

looks pretty cool, but would be better if there was more detail imo.

 

i think behind the master cheif should be black. looks good though, 7/10

 

Too much negative space(white) go back and fill the background space with black.

I think it's ok... but too much empty space.. add some bg , but not just plain black as the other guy said thought... but don't make it too much if u get what i mean..

Too much negative space. Fill the b/g or dupe and smudge. Also, when you smudge you should always smudge in one direction to give your tag flow. Good luck in your next sig.

 

wow this is good for your first smudge =O

dont make the bg black... thatll ruin it... make it like a soft tan or a gradient or soemthing ..... itll keep it nice.... just white is also pretty cool but maybe like a little bit of text on the white or soemthing....cause it loooks really plain ....

but keeping it the way it is... is still realllly nice =) gj

i also like the smuding in different ways.... sometimes you dont need flow to look good

 

hmm for a first try not bad, but it does need more detail too it.
