Obama vs. McCain, round one - who won?

Obama and McCain spent an hour and 37 minutes going at each other, on issues ranginf from from the economy to foreign policy.

Who do you think won?

I honestly didn't watch it, but I happened to watch a speech of Obama's so I assume he just won people over with words, whilst McCain was doing his old people makes-no-sense talk.

 

Barrack Obama,
John Mcain hasnt got much knowledge and said some foolish comments such as I dont need anymore training im ready to lead Usa and also said "I will take care of the troops, I love them"
meanwhile Barrack was simply cruising, he was calm and said the speech with awe.

 

John McCain won. He shot down Obama many times. He proved he had more experience and that he is evolved.

Obama agreed with McCain a number of times.

Obama said he was going to like bomb Pakistan and he said some other things that he shouldn't have.

Obama was a better speaker though but for the debate McCain won.

 

It doesn't matter who won a fucking debate.

They both have plans that will never be possible in our modern world, so what they say is both lies.

I do stand for Obama btw.

 

I highly believe Obama will win and did a very good job.

 

I think Obama did great.

 

Mccain was so frustrated at Obama's comments he wouldn't shut the fuck up when his turn was over. He felt the need to explain himself even more when it was unnecessary. McCain proved that he is single minded and self centered on his ideas, whilst Obama agreed on general topics but told McCain where he went wrong. Overall, Obama's speech made more sense his plans were better and McCain just thinks he is perfection and he is clearly mistaken. McCain is so afraid of Obama, you could see it in his eyes and through his actions in the debate. McCain felt the need to praise and honor himself and state his many many years of misguided experience while he stated over and over how inexperienced Obama is. Obama in his own words said it isn't an election to say who has been in office longer, it's picking the person that best represents our government.

All you fucks out there that think the president has the power to do everything shut the fuck up. It's really congress that has all the power, the president is just the face for the government and he is also the commander and chief, whom can declare war and end it. That' about the jist of it, he can also veto laws... big whoop.

 

I think Obama. McCain kept putting out lies really. And Obama breezed through it. And I hate people who like McCain because there raciest or Obama because McCain is old.

Anyways, I think Obama did better in the beginning and Mccain did better towards the end. So, I would have to say about a tie. I think Obama has the upper hand tho, because he can speak better.

I am really looking forward to the V.P. debate. I hope Palin does real good, but I don't think she will.

 

Considering that this was supposed to be McCain's debate (he's always been higher in the polls in foreign policy then Obama), I believe Obama definitely came out on top.

He shut down McCain whenever the talk went to economics, but unfortunately Mccain was able to wriggle out of most of that by switching the focus to foreigh policy. McCain's proposed "spending freeze" is completely ludicrous, and when the economics debate comes in a few weeks he WILL be completely shut down by Obama.

As for the upcoming veep debate, I'm looking forward to Palin getting the mop from Biden. As she proved in her wonderful interviews up to now, she's got absolutely nothing without a teleprompter - she was literally blibbering when Katie Couric called her on the "I Can See Russia From By House" bullcrap on CBS a few days ago.

It's going to be a funny one, I can tell.

 

I hope she mops the floor with biden, lol.

I think McCain won it. He had a much better debate. He obviously has more debating experience.

 

According to two polls by MSN, Obama not only won the debate but came away with more benefits then expected.

i guess you missed the first part of what obama said that he would only invade pakistan if they were preventing us from capturing bin laden and other high ranking terrorists but i guess people just hear what they want to hear lol.

 

^^ He said nothing about invading Pakistan, he was talking about cross-border raids on insurgents and terrorists who have nothing to do with the Pakistanis except that they hide in their backyards.
