My parents designed their own business card, which to be honest, turned out shitty. So I offered to make them one. And here it is.

    Contact information is there, I know. I don't give a fuck. :]

The point of a business card is to be clear and concise. You want people to focus on the name, and to not think about what pretty crap is in the background. There is no more effective business card than a regular white card, with the details of the person, and a simple logo.

It might be boring, but I can barely read those business cards he posted - How am I supposed to call the people on them?

What happens if your dealing with old people, who have a load of money? They could barely read a white card with black text, and your going to hand them this?

I can resize it. The original is the correct dimensions for a business card.

Dear god, you've blasphemied the art of business card creation!

The cost of printing cards like your design would be an absolute fortune... you'd be better off using one side color one side black and white... and here I think Vision Ex is wrong too, there's no need for it to be plain black and white color is awesome on business cards... I think i'll actually make you a card, and honestly, your parents can use it if they want, I don't care.

Dude, the pricing wouldn't really be that bad for printing. My parents aren't huge in their business, they don't need bulk prints.

The main purpose of the business card I made was for looks. It was 1. to show off photography and 2. give it a nice clean look, while still being appealing to look at. I know a simple business card would better serve the purpose, but why be plain and simple like everyone else does with their bcs. I just wanted to give people something to look at, for once.

And I would really appreciate if you made one as well, and give me the .psd so I can learn. But yeah, I think I served my personal goal pretty well. My brother thought it was brilliant. He's in the graphic design business, so he's not just a blatent oppinion.

I srsly might fucking kill you.

the one i'm doing too, is the correct standard business card size, resolution, color mode, etc. so you can just mess with it however then send it off to a printer
