Why not just compile from the source yourself? Then you know what exactly is being ran on your machine.

the client is legit, not forcing you to use it, but they have now just updated a bunch from RL using their injector from blocking RL+. you are now able to distance click (1-click to ZMI altar etc.) along with able to click with detached camera.

i just wanted to point out how much of a loser viral is



the underlined plugins are APART OF RUNELITE PLUS.

 

It works well have been using it for about a week on an alms maxed account with wealth on it, no problems so far. Instead of asking so many times why not run in VM or skim through the code yourself?

Friendly Reminder guys, GitHub means NOTHING (not like 99% of you can read anything anyway) as this client auto updates every week. Meaning an update can be pushed without your knowledge to rat/take your acc

Not bashing your thread, just letting people know GitHub means nothing with an auto updating client.

 

Not true at all, we have people who do code review before merges get changed, you need to stop spreading false information.

I saw that the construction plugin was temporarily disabled. Has it been enabled again? I can't seem to find it in the client =/

 

I clearly stated what i said. You are spreading fear for no reason.

 

Why are you dodging the question? Does your client automatically update every week/whenever you want it to, yes.. or no?

 

It updates whenever I want it to (or when a serious bug has been fixed immediately). Which has moved to a nightly basis. Implying that it's somehow unsafe just because it updates on a schedule sounds pretty ridiculous wouldn't you agree?

While the exe and jar are ran from hosted builds, you can easily use your own injected client, your own launcher, and your own maven repo, and have complete control over the updating procedure.

And BTW, Github DOES mean everything considering anyone, including Jagex (who certainly HAS) can go through the code. even the prebuilt jars can be SO EASILY decompiled into nearly perfect original source. They aren't obfuscated at all.

 

I'm not saying your client isn't safe right now, I just told people that the client can update whenever it wants. So if you guys were to go rogue (not saying you are) a client/pin/auth logger could be added in an instant. I don't see a problem with alerting people to the potential risks of using a client that's not endorsed by Jagex.
